Delta Takes Step On Implementation Of N70,000 New Minimum Wage by Mazist: 7:58pm On Aug 14
Delta State Government has taken a firm step on the implementation of the new minimum wage with a directive to the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Dr. Kingsley Emu, and the Commissioner for Finance, Chief Fidelis Tilije, to hold talks with the State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, on its implementation in the state.

Delta State supposed to be the very first state to implement the new minimum wage. I heard they just started paying the N30000 minimum wage recently.

For a state like Delta State is not acceptable.

Just like in Rivers State if not for SIM Fubara, Local Government workers would still be earning N18000 minimum wage.

Wike in his 8 years never paid minimum wage.

Wicked Wike, I know he can't try this in the FCT. Hausa people go show am shege promax.

My beloved state is rich enough to be the first state to start the payment because we received the most funds from both FAAC and 13% deprivation
