-1). "The most evil organisations in the world today are the World Bank and IMF." ( Renowned economist - Michael Hudson).

-2). "What theyโ€™re designed to do is make sure Africa is in a perpetual state of debt." Patrice L. O. Lumumba.
What an incredible character and worthy leader of a President. Men with steel balls. It is good that he declined the debt death trap of IMF. The thing that always starts the slavery to Western imperialism. With the sale of his country's Lithium, Uranium and Gold, Burkina Faso can become the richest nation in the world in no time.

The World Bank and IMF are economic enslavers as they only bring financial leverage against govts defending their national interest, and to steer them to become dependent on U.S. agricultural exports and dollar credit, adding food dependency to debt dependency.

If these measures fail to bring the foreign govt to heel, time for a color revolution, or clandestine paramilitary decapitation, or full US military intervention in defense of democracy and freedom.

That's very wise of Burkina Faso; land of the upright.
This is how IMF and the useless World Bank dangle unsolicited loans in front of African countries.

Shout out to this man. A greedy and corrupt leader like Peeta Hoebee would have caught the bait.

A new crop of leaders are emerging in Africa that have clear ideas as to how they want their various economies and societies to be run so as to prioritise their self-sustenance and cultural imperatives over and above theories and conditionalities of the Western World and other bigger economies that do not sit well with their people.

We should be proud that we have @officialABAT at this time as President who, from a rich antecedent, knows all the nuances of how to grow a modern economy and can easily connect with other African leaders on such initiatives.

Tinubu, over to you.
When I say naija men has inbuilt low self esteem, guys never care to check out effect of low self esteem on their daily lives. Even billionaires in Nigeria have low self esteem. It is our biggest problem and actually our only problem.

This is what was cultivated in childhood. All the shouting, cursing, not allowing them to have a say, beating and what have you we do to children thinking we are training them cos the bible and tradition said so result to serious low self esteem.
We grow up trying to please, we grow up not satisfied with what we have, we grow up inhumane. We grow up angry. We grow up a confused human.

Yep, the greatest thing you can do for your future generation is training your child the right way so this burden will be lifted from us else we will continue to be like this forever.
Our guys talk down on women cos that's what they saw growing up and in their small mind, it makes them macho.
No society that treats children and women as slaves ever prosper in human indices. Google is there for you to use before you start typing insulting words.

Women on the other hand transfer all the bile on kids, maids, those that are beneath them and we have this wonderful Nigerian society and culture we are proud of today.
We don't even like our body( low self esteem again). We also seek that recognition from men so we can do anything to look good.
Imagine almost all our actresses have gone u der the knife.
Nigerian women spend billions every year to do hair. We ranked first for more than 20 yrs now.

It is in Nigeria that a very poor lady dresses like a queen. Can we see what low self esteem can do.

I decided to watch Nigerian movies for like 6 months. All they promote is wealth, wealth and more wealth.
The way they call millions and billions is shocking.
They give off that wealthy vibes that why in reality, when they are sick, people abandon them cos they live in lala island every day in drama world. Go to their social media pages and see them showing they have arrived. Those living in diaspora will mortgage the first day they landed and show off on social media. The guys abroad think that sone certain jobs are beneath them. They still carry their ego enter abroad. Instead of doing legal jobs, they want to hammer one day so they can show off. Low self esteem again.

I really have a lot to say.
Have never seen one who don't have low self esteem in this forum. Very few. Not up to 0.5%.

So before you start criticising those leaders, you will do worst when you have access to power and money cos that's who we are.

IMF loan should always be the last resort, when there is no other option. They will attach some stringent conditionalities to the loan, which will stiffle economic growth of the receiving country.I hope African countries grow some ball to start rejecting this devil's gift in form of loan and foreign aids.

That's a very wonderful move by the Burkinabe President Ibrahim.
He's a man of courage and strength,a man who can stand up effectively to challenge the Satanic West.
He did marvellously well in turning down the financial assistance from the IMF.
The WB and IMF are the greatest enemies of Africa's development, designed to keep her in a perpetual state of debt.
Can BAT do what this man did?
Of course not!
He would grab the loan like a foolish fish which knows a hook is hidden in the worm and still goes to bite the bait.
This is why all 55 African countries must join China and Russia for moulding of a multipolar world order.
These world powers are fighting for this and it doesn't sit well with the Satanic West including the perpetually paranoid Superpower US.
Thank God for Turkey which is repeatedly blocking Cooperation between NATO and Israel.

This guy understands the psyche of the average African. You don't develop your country by isolating yourself.
The Asian tigers we praise today opened their economy to the world. China did not develop in isolation. Towards the end of the 20th century China received billions of dollars in aid and FDI, Japan and India are highly indebted.

But my people are praising him. Well let's watch and see.

you guys are making noise over nothing taking loan isn't bad how you utilize the resources is the deal. The west is not the problem. Does he have the intellects to create wealth for his people? Is he discipline enough to resist being corrupt? What's are his policies for his nation? These are real questions that needs to be tackle not the oppression mindset from the West.

IMF destroyed Nigeria...

The IMF has only lent once to Nigeria and that was during the pandemic lock down when all economic activity basically stopped, which meant no revenue was coming in for the government.

The IMF isn't reasonable for the Nigerian mess. Prime blame goes to Buhari who wrecked the economy.
