Everything is gone in this country.. incuding the little common sense and intelligence left with these lazy youths. How can a right-thinking person look at this BS and think it is real? No, they're even judging the kidnappers for foolishly leaving smartphones with their victims. SMH!

Idiot. He's in the kidnapper's den and he couldn't post location. But when they're flexible the can post "Kenny at lekki with 99 others" . These children are so so stupid.

Two things are involved: either they children orchestrated their own kidnap or the Nigerian Intelligence Agency is a flop - they Agency can simply track the location of that message through it's ip address.

Anyways, whether a woman is a medical doctor, a billion or a philanthropist, once she's not a virgin, don't marry her. Just fvck her and let her go meet another fvcker when you're tired of her overused pvssy. Women don't forget the first peniiss to enter their pvssy. If you are not the first to fvck her, you will always come second in her life.

If you marry a woman who is not a virgin, you will train another man's child because she will definitely fvck her ex the moment he shows up to her on Facebook or in the market.

Finally, do not pay bride price, sponsor wedding ceremony and take care of in-laws just to have a woman who was fvcked by another man with just two eggs and indomie. Only a fool would do that. Are you the fool?

Be wise. Be the first !

So if they point gun at u to post ransom, u will include address?

Police and govt have not been reliable but even we citizens too are not ready. When MTN blocked phone numbers not registered and can't be linked to NIN we revolted against them and govt ordered MTN to unblock the sim cards.Without full compliance with all these important citizens data base capturing govt policies insecurity issues will never end. Imagine, kidnappers are easily changing sim cards, posting loots on Internet e.t.c.

For those wondering why the kidnappers left him with his phone; they only allowed him use the phone to post about the ransom collection. What he posted was 1st scrutinised, else he would have given info about their locations and other details that will aid security forces to rescue them.

Stupid explanation.

My friends were kidnapped at Enugu yesterday, same kidnappers are demanding 50m ransom for 3 of them.

Is it the poor masses that's cause of the hardship in the country, why won't this kidnappers go after the politicians and leave the poor people that's struggling to survive alone.

They left him with phone? Can be tracked assuming we have working police force.

Nothing can ever convince me that policemen are not the masterminds of these regular kidnappings

It's like u are not a Nigerian, location is not a problem in any kidnapping case, at least a kidnaper would use a phone to contact ur people, so having a phone in kidnaper's is nothing to them, when a man kidnapped few years ago, they were using his phone to contact his people through out the negotiation, police was involved sef , nothing happened to those kidnapper at end.

Nigeria can ban Twitter from her cyber space. She can ban Facebook from her cyber space. She can arrest you for hatespeech. But she can not track a post from a kidnapped kid phone? Nonsense!

Anywhere you send message from or call police can track to 100 meters. This is because it will be sent by the nearest communication tower.

You guys are still refusing to understand this thing. Tracking is not the issue, the rescue mission gangan is the too-big a work for the Police or whoever to handle. If it's a harmless netizen now, posting about first lady or president, he would have been arrested. How? The tracking is easy with the telcos. They can pick out your location from anywhere but the Police are not ready to so their work.

That's so fvcked up.... well that's true I remembered that dss saga

Reading these comments, I can see why we are where we are today

1. Govt insisted on SIM-NIN integration, some are still yet to do it
2. Govt clearly has a way to track phones now but the populace are still ignorant
3. Security agencies wont disclose what they are doing as this is not the best practice. I am sure they are on top of it.
4. Even in sane countries, you cannot eliminate crimes totally so why blame Tinubu/Shettima...blame the parents that failed in raising their children.
5. why would anyone still travel late or in high kidnap zones...what were they looking for? I pray they are rescued safe and sound.

Please don't travel at night. If you can avoid it, don't even travel. If you must, take multiple precautions.

Tinubu and Shettima must be blamed because they promised to tackle insecurity du4ing campaign and they are collecting billions for security vote.

Na command and obey.

What if they are even the ones that typed it?

It's such a very sad case. To allow medical students travel anyhow in this perilous times.

So u think the kidnappers don't know that all locations have to be switched off or what if they switch location after switching off location?

By the way, as he's typing the message the kidnappers will have their eyes closed?

Posting alone has given the location, even me as a private citizen can track that.

If police are ready to work, they have enough info with that post to track it.
