Job loss can have a significant impact on families in Nigeria, including:

1. Reduced income: Decreased financial stability and ability to meet basic needs.

2. Increased poverty: Higher risk of falling into poverty, exacerbating existing economic challenges.

3. Emotional distress: Stress, anxiety, and depression among family members.

4. Changes in family dynamics: Altered roles, responsibilities, and relationships within the household.

5. Reduced access to education: Decreased ability to afford school fees, uniforms, and materials.

6. Poor health outcomes: Inability to afford healthcare, leading to neglected medical conditions.

7. Increased debt: Accumulation of debt due to inability to meet financial obligations.

8. Homelessness: In extreme cases, loss of housing due to inability to pay rent or mortgage.

9. Malnutrition: Reduced access to nutritious food, leading to malnutrition and related health issues.

10. Social isolation: Withdrawal from social activities and community engagement due to shame or stigma.

In Nigeria, where many families rely on a single breadwinner, job loss can have far-reaching consequences, affecting not only the individual but also their dependents.

Dear Sycophants,

On August 29 2023, Tinubu’s government promised to create 50 million jobs and revive the economy.

This is almost one year. How far with your messiah’s plan?

https://www.nairaland.com/7821154/tinubu-sets-3-year-economic-revival
For those of u w*nking Tinubu, i ask would u have preferred Atiku as your president or what exactly is the miracle PO would have performed if he was president
Both PO and Atiku acknowledged that they would have also removed subsidy which Tinubu has done as well, as matter of fact the subsidy has not been 100% removed. The FG is stilk paying about 40-50% in subsidy to shield the hardship from Nigerians.
Anyways i didn't vote for Tinubu but I'm just so curious about what PO or Atiku would have done differently

Things are happening. I work with a Food and beverage company, this week has been a challenging one for top officials as nothing less than 20 of them have been laid off.

The company is going through a very rough path and everyone is afraid of being sacked right now.

I’m talking about the jobs Tinubu promised he will create, you’re talking about subsidy removal.

What is the correlation?

The problem is he didn't give A $hit about the consequent inflation caused by his policies. The inflation of food prices is dystopian. He had to wait till people protested to even plan to think of what to do about it.

It just shows the paucity of their ideas and capacity to govern and think outside the box! All their mind is on oyel-oyel-oyel! These are the same schmucks that were fighting to be in control of the presidency! Now they’ve got it, they haven’t got a clue what to do with it….that is besides enriching themselves, junketing around the globe, and enjoying all the creature comforts that come with the office!

On 27th of April 2023, Tinubu mentioned that in a year’s time, the naira will exchange for 300 to the USD. What is naira exchanging for right now hmmm?
