Three suspects, Taiwo Olayinka 30, Azeez Sodiq 33 and Saheed Moonstruck 23, have been in our custody since yesterday, shortly after the incident, and efforts are on to arrest the remaining two suspects that escaped.

Before you start to hype docile politicians understand first that It has nothing to do with the government. It all boils down to terrain and environment. Kidnapping (adult abduction especially) is very difficult to carry out in densely populated areas. It is difficult to escape and maintain cover where you have heavy traffic and people lurking around everywhere.

This is the same reason banditry and insurgency flourishes in the North. The opposite effect. Look at Abuja. It has more security presence than Lagos yet kidnapping is still a thing due to lower population density and free roads.
