How can three kidnappers be caught red handed by a crowd and be sitting in Police custody instead of fighting for life in hospital ICU .... laying stiff in the morgue or left earth in a cloud of smoke? Seems like the more these criminals are getting ruthless the more compassion people are getting for them. But then again ... maybe the high price of petrol prevented certain actions.

So, what should the authorities do with die-hard criminals? Use taxpayers' money to fund their stay in the prison? For instance, in the UK, criminals are being released from jails because of potential over-crowding whereas certain punishments would have reduced their numbers.
