Anambra State Housing Development Control sealing off of properties that flouted their residential use approval at Udoka Housing Estate Awka is commendable and should not be politicised.

Disgruntled opposition elements that are labouring in vain to politicise the commendable action taken by the enforcement team of Anambra State Housing Development Control (ASHDC) must be told in plain language that Anambra under Governor Soludo administration watch is not a banana republic where everything goes.

Things that are possible in the past are no longer possible now because Governor Soludo administration is determined to ensure that we start doing things the right way and not behaving anyhow we like.

If you do anyhow under Governor Soludo administration watch, you will face the full wrath of the law.

The enforcement team of ASHDC took commendable action by sealing off multiple properties at Udoka Housing Estate Awka.

The move was prompted by the illegal conversion of residential properties into commercial spaces without securing the necessary approval for a change of use.

You cannot secure residential use approval for a property and turn the property into commercial use .

Even if you want to do that, you approach Anambra State Housing Development Control for a change of use from residential purposes to commercial purposes.

This is the right thing to do but owners of the sealed properties at Udoka felt that they are above the law and that they can do anything they want hence the reason behind the commendable step taken by ASHDC enforcement team against on those properties.

Those politicising the steps taken by the enforcement team of ASHDC were misinformed and deformed.

They don't have any tenable reason to politicise the lawful action of ASHDC enforcement team because they did the right thing.

I will not fail to add that ASHDC gave the sealed property owners enough notice and reminder before sealing off their properties.

The action was not targeted at anybody and not a political witch hunt.

The users of the sealed properties are labouring in vain to politicse the incident.

Those making use of the properties are not the owners of the sealed properties and the action of ASHDC enforcement team is not targeted at the tenants of the properties.

As for those pointing at the Healthy Living office of Anambra State First Lady that is at the same Udoka Housing Estate, claiming that it's being used for commercial purposes and that ASHDC enforcement team should have sealed the building, they are wrong.

ASHDC enforcement team are not going after properties that secured commercial purposes approval rather they are going after properties that secured residential use approval and converted their properties to commercial use without approaching the regulatory agency for a change of purpose use approval.

The operation of ASHDC enforcement team aligns with their broader efforts to ensure proper land use and uphold urban development standards in the State.

Converting residential spaces into commercial facilities can significantly alter the estates environment, impacting urban planning .

ASHDC has been vigilant in enforcing compliance across the State, especially in premium housing estates like Udoka to prevent similar violations and ensure that property development aligns with approved purposes.

On my own part, I will not fail to express my happiness that the Ponzi scheme office opened by the impostor Edozie Njoku in Anambra was among the sealed properties.

As far as am concerned, that office is for a Ponzi scheme and not APGA office.

I commend ASHDC enforcement team for the good job they did.
