Coping With The Present Harsh Economic Realities In Nigeria by Sublimesuccess: 10:19am On Aug 25
The times are hard. The cost of living, for some,is gradually becoming life Itself. Some people who could not face the heat of the challenges of this difficult time have defrayed the cost of living with their lives. Some people have been seemingly made the sacrificial lamb that offset the sins of the greedy leaders who came to loot our common wealth. They died in the impoverishment created by the scarcity of resources, all because some greedy leaders carted the resources away from the reach of the common man. People are labouring hard to survive under the policies created by our government. This is the most difficult time in the history of Nigeria to live as Nigerians. This is the time people wish they were not Nigerians!

Despite these challenges and heat, there is a beacon of hopeand a ray of light. Someone said,
"Difficult times create strong men,
Strong men create good times,
Good times create weak men,
And weak men create difficult times."

It is a cycle of life. We are in the first phase of the quote.
The times are tough, this is the time to build our financial discipline, avoid wasteful spending and invest wisely if you have such privileges. Remember that Isaac, in the Bible, sowed in that land when there was a famine and the harvest promoted him and he became financially buoyant.

There is a lesson to be learnt in every situation. Instead of complaining and getting drowned by the present Nigeria's economic turbulent current, we may have to pick one or 2 lessons and adjust accordingly to survive this harsh period.

Some lives have been broken. Some do not know where to get the next meal from. The future of some looks bleak and blank and some have been blinded by the harsh economic realities making their lives bland.

There is hope for survival If we remember that pain produces power, tests produce testimonies, trials turn into triumphs, stumbling blocks can be turned to stepping stones, victims can turn into victors and sometimes we travail to prevail.

Instead of getting run over by the wheel of hard times as Nigerians, this is the time to brace up and brave it up. This is a trying period into which poor economic policies and greed of those in power have plunged the nation.
The Bible says that woe unto a nation when its childish rulers wake up to wine and dine, but a nation in which its rulers take bread only for strength( and not for any other sensual excesses) is blessed.
( Ecclesiastes 10 V 16 Paraphrased )

We need strength to survive this crucial period in the history of the nation. To win a battle, you must understand the following:
(a) The strengths and weaknesses of your opponents.
(b) Your own vulnerabilities. Those are the areas your opponents can take advantage of.
(C) Strategies to leverage on the weaknesses of your opponents and also block your opponents' abilities in exploring your vulnerabilities to their own advantage.
(d) The resources for solid preparations and strategy mastery.

I encourage you to watch the video posted by someone as it will show you exactly what to do in these hard times. I assure you, the time spent on watching the video will be an investment. There is hope. There's light at the end of the tunnel.
