Widespread adoption of ebikes will create new opportunities for Lithium battery manufacturers, couplers and technicians.

I still don’t understand Nigeria, you are a crude oil producing nation and it is even one of your main sources of income for now, yet you are the one championing E this and E that plus electric vehicles to the detriment of your main source of income. If you focus on building refineries everywhere and sell fuel for cheap in Nigeria and still export the excess, will the country collapse??

Countries that have electricity are developing e-bikes and e-cars as alternatives to petrol and diesel engines. Nigeria that has crude oil and lacks electricity is adopting the e-bikes and e-cars. This is why Nigeria is going backward. Nigeria abandons or abuse its resources and borrow money to afford the resources from other countries.

The countries that introduced e-bike and e-cars perfected fuel and diesel usages first. Those countries that develop e-bikes first enjoyed Nigeria's crude oil. Nigeria has not even enjoyed its crude oil. You no fit enjoy wetin you get in abundance, na borrow borrow go beleful you?

Those countries fully utilised 2G network before going for 3G, and fully utilised 3G before proceeding to 4G and 5G.

But Nigeria keeps jumping, claiming to catch up without perfecting or fully utilising anything. Nigeria that is still very far from perfecting electricity is going for e-bikes. The same Nigeria that is supposed to utilise crude oil.

With 3G, those countries were able to utilise surveillance cameras. Even with 5G, Nigerian banks can't easily verify NIN or passport. Those countries enjoyed good network coverages for calls with ordinary 2G. With 5G, Nigeria is still struggling to make clear phone calls.

The same government will ban bikes in developed cities. Is e-bike not a bike?

Your argument is wrong to some extent. The nations adopting EV have plenty of petrol. They only wanted clean energy and that’s why they are adopting EV. Nothing bad in that if we adopt the same because it ensures clean environment and atmosphere. This prevents respiratory diseases and other skin diseases. The EV are also noiseless and prevent noise pollution. Please stop turning logic on its head.

Our fathers-mine and yours enjoyed our oil money during the boom but they frittered it all away..... those before then were also handed a solid and prosperous Nigeria but they destroyed the country.......these repercussions are what we are still suffering fill date..... many of us needs to reflect on our past heartedly,we will then realise Yoruba,Igbo,Hausa can't solve our problems.

Did you know that Nigeria was the first country to go full wireless with the most rapid growth in mobile telephony considering our huge population.....every one thought it would collapse but here we are...... though not there yet.

When they enjoy 20 hrs electricity supply in many places

In fact where I live in Lagos we have electricity for days sometimes and we are on band B.

Even when the lights go off it only takes a few between 1 or 2 hours and it's restored!

And I just got a prepaid meter yesterday with 100 units worth 8k loaded!

Those nations improved other aspects of environmental sanitation before going for e-bikes. Those countries mastered recycling many decades ago before going for e-bikes.

You want to divert from the topic because you can't point out any falsehood in my comment and you are not willing to admit the truth.
Which truth are u taking about? u people just like criticizing progress on baseless points. Nigeria has electricity if that Is what u want to hear. The problem is that we want to enjoy like we were in the UK but never wanted to pay as they do. Since my area has been migrated to the band A, it has been like 24/7 power supply, if they have to take it ,they would send emails to state the reasons and apologized, hardly will it be over an hour ,that was during grid collapse self. I now see the reasons why places that work are working , people pay for what they enjoy and question the authority for any shortfalls in the service they pay for.
The disturbing noise of generator has gone into oblivion! Surprisingly, the people are agitating that we should be returned back to band C! Do we actually want this country to work ,we have to play our roles and not only the government.
Crude oil is not only used for automobile, if e- automobile is cheaper ,why not embrace it and divert the crude oil to other industrial purposes! U think the developed countries that buy crude oil from Africa and Saudi are using it for automobile alone? Capital no! So ur points are not valid, the world is tending towards a cheap energy with less environmental pollution, like radioactive source of energy but u are castigating the government for encouraging electrical automobile!.

Why are people agitating for band c? Is it because of too much energy supply or because of outrageous billing?
