Those who are blindly condemning the action of the doctors are biased and petty-minded. According to the NARD, the woman in question has been in captivity for 8 months. They also said the woman is a nursing mother. In the light of these facts, the govt and the association are both wrong. Can a serving lawmaker or a member of the executive stay that long in the den of kidnappers without any decisive action from the govt? The answer is obviously 'No'. On the other hand, NARD should have embarked on nationwide protest rallies several times to embarrass the govt before now, while this strike action should have been the last resort in the case of lack of response from the govt. Finally, threatening workers who have other options is never the solution, rescuing the victim is. The Nigeria's doctor to patient ratio is already dishearteningly low. |

NewDea4: I don’t see anything wrong with that. After all your beloved Apc failed woefully but were still “rewarded” with another 4 years of ruling under Tinubu. |
