This achievement represents a major advancement in reshaping public transportation in Lagos, bringing us closer to a modern, efficient, and interconnected city.

The Red Line will operate four daily trips between Oyingbo and Agbado. This essential route will not only facilitate commuting for thousands but also alleviate congestion and enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Morning departures from Oyingbo will begin at 8:30 AM, making stops at key stations such as Yaba, Mushin, Oshodi, Ikeja, Agege, before arriving at Agbado by 9:37 AM. The trains will adhere strictly to their schedules, ensuring order and efficiency in our rail services.

This initial passenger operation allows us to continually assess the system's safety, reliability, and efficiency, while gathering valuable feedback from passengers. This is a crucial step towards full commercial operations.

Once fully operational, the Red Line is anticipated to run 20 trips daily, accommodating over 500,000 passengers each day. This rail line is more than just transportation; it’s a vital link that connects our communities and drives economic growth.

Together, we are creating a Lagos that serves everyone—efficient, connected, and poised for the future.

Just like yesterday

Today, I inspected our newly acquired Talgo Intra-City Ten Coach metropolitan trains, for our Red Line Metro project in Lagos.

These new trains which were originally intended to connect Madison and Milwaukee in the United States, are now headed for Lagos state.

To think they wanted to vote out sanwo olu for shinedu that doesn't have a single experience in public service.

Imagine having all these developments and wanting it to stop.

I don't need to cvrse any yoruba man/woman that vote for shinedu against sanwo olu, because it's obvious the gods of the land have already cvrsed them with stvpidity.

Green line is also coming by the way..

Intracity rail shouldn't be more 2 minutes between two stations. But here, some stations are over 10 minutes. What does these people learn when they travel overseas?

Well, I guess it's a start but what is worth doing, is worth doing well especially when they hope the rail can be alternative to the buses. Otherwise, huge distances between two stations will ensure the project is less impactful to the people as intended.

Partial services and full service will not have any difference in the time between the time it takes to commute between any two stations, since it wasn't stated whether or not the speed is reduced during partial services.

And yes, here in Europe, the approximate time between any two stations is 2 minutes.
