Someone is targeting me, and I don't know who it is, but it seems to be related to a shop. I recently reopened this particular shop. It is in a good location, situated beside the main road, but I had previously closed it out of frustration. The shop was burgled and all my valuable gadgets were stolen. It has not even been three months since I renovated the shop, brought in new gadgets, and reopened it, but someone has been trying to burgle it again.

Yesterday, we discovered that someone tried to break into the shop, the person also tampered with the signboard on top of the shop roof, causing it to face downwards.

Also, a man came to the shop yesterday and placed a large order for different foods and various drinks, which exceeded what was available, he said he needed it for a party. While my other staff were in the kitchen area preparing more food for him, he sent the staff who was supposed to serve the food on an errand, and she left without informing anyone, I don't know if she was under a spell or if she was just licking his feet.

When the man realized that he had successfully distracted all of them, he started pretending to be in a hurry. My sister decided to assist by putting the available food into disposable plates, and in the process, the man stole her phone and fled.

A lot has been happening lately. My staff had previously informed me that on the first day the shop was reopened, they saw a nylon bag full of poo in front of the shop and disposed of it.

My sister has been very cold and down since yesterday. Apart from the fact that the stolen phone is expensive, there are important documents on it. I tried hard to suppress my emotions, but seeing my sister in distress because of me made it impossible to hold back my tears.

She didn't even need to be in my shop yesterday. It was Monday and I needed to take foodstuffs to the shop, but I begged her to help me because I had an early morning appointment with a client at the office.

Even my car was tampered with. She parked it outside the shop in its usual location, but there were signs that someone had tried to break into it. It seems like someone is deliberately trying to frustrate me to the leave the shop.

This is a new one. Didn't know it was possible to employ armed security from DSS as a private person

So sorry for all of that. Allah will surely see you through. Just keep the spirit alive, engage the service of local security, who will have eyes on your shop. Finally, please construct internal protector.

How do you start preparing food when no commitment has yet been made? Who does that?

It seems you have been targeted either by a jealous competitor or a friendly foe, whichever one it is you should try and get cctv cameras installed round your shop or better still just move to another location entirely.

Life in this country right now is too messed up to let another person add his or her hatred and frustration to it.

I have already assigned someone to monitor the shop for me; that is possibly why the burglar couldn't gain access. He might have heard footsteps and fled.

If you can get access to a better location you can move away to avoid all the stress but If you think it would be difficult to get better location, employ a local security guard to monitor the place for you at night for just few months.

Be on guard against any customer that is acting suspiciously and put countermeasures in place to avoid past occurrence, be ready to deal with anyone that misbehave in your vicinity, talk to the men you know to help you out.

CCTV even Chinese (cheap one) in about 2 to 3 locations will suffice.

Should not be more than 50k.. You can even monitor it through your phone.

Easy peasy

Just to chip-in this advise:

Even before you get the CCTV installed, get an artist to paint very bold signs stating:

This Business is Monitored by 24hours CCTV!

Another one:

Smile, you are on CCTV.

It will deter people but make sure to install the cameras.

Be more physically present at your business too

Ponder no further. This is the handiwork of HellAnus, the shameless Tinuboo online miscreant. That's how he goes about stealing to satisfy his urge for amala and gbegiri since his 30k monthly stipend was slashed by Tinuboo the drug criminal.

How conducive is the environment? Is it a ghetto filled with area boys and agberos?

Those saying CCTV camera, the person might end up destroying the CCTV camera while covering his or face!

Employ a security guard to quietly do the job for you

Install CCTV cameras & observe for a while. Don’t make the cameras too obvious but it shouldn’t be hidden. It should be good enough to get people’s faces clearly. Observe the people that come in there & those trying to burgle your shop. Once you have enough evidence, get them arrested & charge them to court.

See eh, to survive in this part of the world you either play their game with them or use legal means to teach them a lesson. Don’t forgive whoever is caught.

Are you such a coward? then better crawl back into your mums kitty because it seems you arent ready for life yet. Life is tough and rugged. You must be ready to withstand any and every and give back as good as you get.

Na your type dey leave marriage because of rival or you resign your job because of competition? YOu are very weak and a liability to anyone!!

When the going gets tough the tough get going!!! You should always be ready to give as good as you get!!! never ever relent or surrender.

Report the case to any nearest police station and let them initiate tracking of that device . It might lead you to the culprit.
Secondly, install CCTV inside and outside the store and get a least a security guard to look after the store after closing hours.

Sound it into their head, no financial commitment, no deal. Period. So sorry for your stress. Tell your sister all will be well. Someone is just trying to mess with your mind and possibly leave the place

You've got a threat, and you need to destroy the threat. Do not move anywhere. Spend more random times in the shop and figure out the enemy and destroy.
