This is the reason that I use Jumia.

After Jumia used my eyes to see shege on top 18K, I deleted all my details with them. We shall never do business again.

I ordered for a product which they later claimed was out of stock. It took two months for them to refund my cash. I advised them to indicate that the item was out of stock. Almost eight months later, the advice was disregarded. They’ve lost me and any of my friends who plan to become potential customers.

That's not unusual with jumia. I bought Freezer and TV and I was lucky unlike the earbud I bought that was faulty.

There's actually no need for this publicity, return this and reorder for the real size of your choice. Jumia market is so friendly and flexible. Cheers

It does not, I've returned a couple of items in the past few months. The people to blame are the merchants who deliberately send the wrong item to the customer with the hope that the customer would decide to manage instead of returning it. It's not entirely Jumia's fault.

True. I've returned items like twice because of wrong product, and they refunded my money within 2 weeks.

It doesn't work that way in Nigeria. To deliver the goods takes up to a week how much more to return it.

to refund does not take up to two weeks...have return several items

That's jumia for u( they re full of deceit)...d last item I bought from them was nonsense, another product entirely different from d manufacturer...since then I go to a physical store to buy what I need to ve peace of mind....

But not every platform accepts cash on delivery.

Bro, take a look at the description of the item in your picture. It clearly says, "Adapter compatible with mic". Your order only includes the adapter, not the mic! However, they'll definitely refund you if you return it within seven days of delivery.
Make sure to read the description carefully before ordering. Don’t just rely on the pictures—they can be misleading 99% of the time on these online marketplaces.

How long did it take you to get your money back?

4 days for a useless clipper I bought. I was surprised myself.

I jeje went to buy in the market myself. These sellers on jumia mostly are crooks. Jumia isn't to blame the nigerians are .

Average standard mics 100k to 1 million,pro standard mics 3.5m upward

That's why I love buying things from a physical store.

Return policy is less than a week. Jumia are that effective

He received the exact thing he ordered. What he ordered was wireless microphone adapter based on what is written on the description. Do you expect to get a phone when you order the pouch?

Which might not be fast!

The real question is: will he get his money back?

What I see here is probably "social media madness" of sorts. Many of these people are always quick to take things online without taking the ideal steps first! That's why some of them are more likely to turn on their cameras in emergency situations than to actually take steps to salvage the situations.

The one or two times I had to request a refund from Jumia I got my money back without any problems. In fact, I didn't even have to return the cheap China-made steps counter I had ordered the first time I requested a refund.

There is a window for return 5days from day of delivery.
Just click on return item menu to activate return process.
A delivery person will come pick the return item. They will confirm the item is in good condition after return.
It takes 3- 5days for refund after item has been returned
