If your wealth was acquired via questionable means, it is not a surprise that your family exhibit certain questionable tendencies whether polygamous or monogamous. It is the values and example set by you that will flow down to your offspring. Like someone said, even children of monogamous families squabble over inheritance.

If they have issues in monogamy as you have said, they will have more than double squabbles in polygamy.
