DevilsEqual: This is the kind of nonsense talk that will cause petrol to rise and stay above N1000. What have these activists ever accomplished….think about it. If fuel is fully deregulated as Falana wants, PMS will sell for N1500 in some places, the only place where you will see petrol at N950 will be Lagos. 1 Like |

NNPC IS NOT PRODUCTIVE: -You are right, our SAN, because they Contributed Nothing to Dangote Refinery. So, anyone can fix prices for his or her own goods but NNPC, like Other Nigerian Govt Institutions ( e g DISCOS) have nothing for Nigerians. They are liches, nothing more. For example, all past Govt could not stop this robberies on the Masses and allowed this evil institution to continue. e.g they are not Producing Anything in the Refineries but are keeping Redundant Workers and are debiting Nigerians every Month and we pay for the Works not done- for it can only happen in Nigeria! So Shameful! |

Salewa97:Do u even understand wat it means to be petty.NNPC is a limited liability company now.they hav no rite being sole buyer of dangote product.it ought to be be managed by nuprc. Also,as per PIA price of fuel should according to market forces...i.e fully deregulated.NNPC is doing opposite of that bill that was passed.Ofcourse tinubu n buhari ha since time immemorial had no regard for rule of law |

Salewa97:You are the one being petty here. With #950 being the cheapest price marketers can only sell higher , not lower. But most marketers are even selling lower with what they have in store. I bought at Total #860 this evening. With what. NNPCL is doing marketers will end up still importing fuel since it's cheaper when imported |

Mr falana is right The market should fix the price of fuel, not nnpc. But since it means apc would lose in 2027, nnpc has to fix the price, economic consequences be damned! |

Let's wait for 7 more years for Tinubu to compete his term. It's not very far again.......May God bless who stood against Tinubu Presidency. Tribalism and Religious sentiment couldn't help this time. God will keep Tinubu in good health he won't die, he will keep waxing strong. You think you're wise by voting along tribal and religious sentiment ? Enjoy. |

SAN Falana with all due respect always thinks he has a say on everything even when he does not have the expertise to speak on such an issue. As a secretive, non-transparent the agreement between NNPCL and Dangote Refinery may be, is there anything that says NNPCL is the one that fixed the price Dangote Refinery sold its PMS to NNPCL? NNPCL had only released the retail prices fuel will be sold at its own Filling station outlets. The question is, why is it difficult for Dangote refinery to release the price it sold the fuel to NNPCL for transparency sake?. Both NNPCL, Dangote Refinery and the Oil Marketers are all bird of a feather........ everyone of then is fighting for what will favour them, not the poor masses. |

CodeTemplarr: I can’t understand this thinking please. Dangote is a refiner and not a marketer? So after processing Petrol in his refinery, he allows NNPCL to determine his production cost and profit? After processing diesel, he allows other marketers to determine his production cost and profit? So after refining, he no longer has an input in other matters concerning sales and purchase? Can you throw more light please? 1 Like |

Re: It Is Illegal For NNPCL To Fix Price Of Dangote Petrol – Falana by casualobserver: 7:12pm On Sep 17, 2024 |
zionstaar75: You and Falana are ignoramuses. Is the deisel the tankers loading the petrol use to transport to fuel stations free? You are the one that doesn’t understand English. The price they bought from Dangote is the ex-gantry price, I.e the price at the DRL gate, so the issue of jetty, foreign exchange and the other nonsense you are spewing is irrelevant. 1 Like |
