Absolutely! Biden/Harris alienated different blocs of voters : Arab-Americans, Latinos, working class. Ironically, it's not like Trump has anything good in stock for them but the simple fact that he at least, appeared to care about the different issues facing those sets of voters throughout the campaign made him victorious. For example, Trump is undoubtedly pro-Israel, even quoted saying he'd give Israel everything they need to "finish off" Palestine. But then the same man was strategically courting Arab-American voters in Michigan. At a point, he even invited Imams/Muftis to his rally. Meanwhile, Harris was shutting the pro-Palestine people away from her campaign. She was spending a lot of time courting "moderate" Republicans who were not really going to vote for her anyway.

Trump will put on a shitshow for his four years. And that would create a favourable environment for Democrats.
That's certain. Democrats better learn from this and put their acts together because even if come 2028, and the environment is favourable to them, they may still find themselves in the same position.

The bottom line is that the US is not yet ready for a female president.

Obama is an intelligent person and he got a hunch to pick a replacement at the Democrats national Congress as soon as Biden announced he was stepping down but it seems he was pressed to drop the idea.

Hilary Clinton should have taught them a lesson but they didn't learn. Common sense should tell anybody that if Trump could beat Hillary Clinton, then he can beat any other female candidate in the US.

It doesn't appear to be a woman-like ability issue, rather the ideological posturing of the Democratic party. Their ideas are not appealing to the majority of Americans. Harris campaign was based almost entirely on abortion rights and cultural issues which appear to be too extreme to the majority. Republicans had a fun time attacking them on this. It's almost as if the issues which used to win over voters for Democrats were abandoned.

The way I see it, the Republican party may be the first to elect a female president, except Democrats field a Margaret Thatcher-kind of female presidential candidate.

Correct, but they should have started the investigations immediately they assumed office, that would have given them enough time to come to a conclusion way before the election year. Anyways, it's happened time to move on and watch the comedy that's about to begin for the next few years.

Even if Biden had remained as the Democrat Presidential candidate till the D day,he still wouldn't win, because Americans at a higher percentage have increasingly become disillusioned with his policies especially with the economy, immigration and border security enforcement, handling of Pro Palestinian protests in the country in wake of the ongoing Israel _Hamas war, reluctance to seriously sanction Israeli human rights abuses in the ongoing war.
Arab Americans who have dominance in the swing state of Michigan as a vital voting bloc have been disappointed bitterly with Biden over his unflinching support for Israeli government on the war with Hamas, and vowed to distance themselves from voting him for a second term.
And his replacement Kamala Harris after dropping abruptly out of the race in the wake of his disastrous performance in the last episodes of the presidential debate; didn't even make any significant difference to the Arab American voting bloc and Latino community.
That lack of difference is one of the major reasons for her loss in the election.

The only reason why they lost is because they couldn't rig like they did in 2012, 2016 and 2020. Kamala only won in states that didn't require voters ID and lost in those that just mandated voters ID after the fallout of 2020 rigging.

They wouldn't have blamed anyone if they were able to cheat and rig with their imported immigrants. The APC template of bringing non Nigerians to vote in 2015 failed in US 2024 election.

Democrats need to laud their success and work from facts


in economy,
Democrats have beaten Republicans very well since 1935 until date.

- democrats build up the economy, Republicans come and spend it to the ground. As in hardworking father and arrogant unwise son situation/relationship.


In security,

Democrats since 1935, have respected their enemies but out create and over skill their enemies. They have built more world relationships thereby expanding their understanding and intelligence of friends and foes.

overall, foreign relations is close, but with Republicans since 1966, they loose vital friends temporarily or permanent, than gain friends like the democrats.




In domestic inflation,
the Republicans control most of the ranches and farm lands, including refineries, so they use that leverage to rubbish democrats, just because democrats ask them to respect employees and customers, and also keep a safe standard, and also pay their fair share of taxes. How is that a bad thing.


In immigration, democrats have deported more immigrants than Republicans. Democrats are all about legal immigration and legal integration. Republicans are also about legal immigration but not legal integration. Which is where their racism shines.

As I said it goes beyond that. Being able to insult childless people for being childless takes the cake. Suggesting that a childless person should have less rights and has less stakes is disgusting. Using phrases like "childless cat lady" is beyond tasteless, it speaks to a psychopathic willingness to mock even those who may be suffering a deficiency which is just reprobate.

Donald Trump is an appalling and low life character. It is hard to be worse than him, save you are a killer (I appreciated your example of George W. Being worse - that was true - but Donald is not done yet and George was only worse on one account and that is Iraq).
