At least to get the real truth from him.

Good morning boss. My PC has been having one issue for some time now:

Early this year, I changed the motherboard of my computer, after not using it for like 2 years. But when I started using it, the system goes off sometimes when I turn it on.

Say for example, if I turn it on now, it can go off after like 1 min later. Sometimes it'll show "corrupt BIOS" or "your operating system is corrupt". I've tried reinstalling windows locally (using the recovery option in settings, and the "keep my files" option), but the issue still dey.

Once e start this thing, if I leave am for a long time, and go back to using it, e go work well.

I don't know the issue now. I want to try reinstalling windows again, maybe it'll fix it this time since the thing is saying your OS is corrupt. Or na heating issue?

I don't really know if a corrupt OS can make a Laptop go off randomly.

Sentenced to death for what exactly ?

He kill somebody ?

If this guy dies unjustly, then his employer, prosecutors and the judge will forever experience untimely death in their household.

If you get bios programmer and you get a bios file with good clear me region or you Sabi clean the me region of the back up file from your bios chip no wahala.

Just remove the bios chip from the board, back up the file inside it, reprogram with another good file or clean the backup file with CSME tools.

We're handling his case and I've reached out to Ebonyi Commissioner for Justice Dr. Ben Uruchi Odoh in Ochudo City.

We're assembling a team of expat lawyers and reaching out to Lagos state Government for State pardon.
State pardon indeed! You should concentrate on pleading his case and establishing his innocence with your expert lawyers, please

According to vdm, who visited him in prison, the case is more complex. Vdm said he told him after they caught the robbers, the prosecuting lawyer came to meet him in prison and told him they only way they could help him was if he denied ever knowing the robbers in front of the judge which he agreed to do. So when they got to court they asked him 'do you know these guys' and he said he didn't know them. That's allegedly by the way. If this is true then he has really implicated himself. But death sentence? That is harsh since there was no report of anyone dying from the robbery.
The prosecuting lawyer must have taken bribes from the main criminals or belong to the same cult/cartel with them, so they implicated the poor boy and made him the scapegoat to free the main criminals.

I've always said that the Nigerian judicial system is one corrupt entity filled with unscrupulous lawyers who're neck-deep into occultism and all manner of corrupt practices.

I just hope Ebonyi state government would take up this matter and liaise with her Lagos state counterpart to free this innocent boy.

Him walking for free is likely impossible, well maybe possible since he has already been behind bars for 7 yrs

The case should be revisited. Miscarriage of justice is the highest injustice anywhere in the world.

As for those who would call Nigeria for something like this, it happens even in America, too.
Nigeria has the worst police and justice system in the world.

That's why it's always adviceable to put up a good behavior, dress properly, have a good haircut, wear clean and good clothes, whiten up your brown teeth, if you want to drink or smoke, drink and smoke inside your house or find a decent place. Your facial look and lifestyle speaks for you sometimes.

AntiZikist:

That's what he claimed happened .

I believe what truly transpired is that this guy did connive with some people at large to carry out the armed robbery . He acted as both an informant and as an accessory and accomplice to the armed robbery attack on his clients.

The original plan was that it will be staged as if he was innocent by having his accomplices tie him down and later bundle him into the boot of the car and leave the crime scene.

He will then return claiming victim as well but the madam was able to identify one of the thieves being the one that she had earlier warned the security man never to allow into her residence.

They arrested him on the spot and when the police conducted a search they found #100,000 cash on him being his own share from the robbery.

What I believe here is that the security guy refused to give up the real armed robbers or maybe he never knew them well enough or where to locate them.

The security dude then implicated other innocent people as those who came to rob. It's important he distances himself from having any relationship with the armed robbers so I am sure he implicated innocent people .

If you think this is far fetched , I know of a guy who repairs and sells phones who was implicated by an arrested armed robber as being the person the armed robber bought the stolen phone he was tracked with. This was the armed robber's only way of distancing himself from the armed robbery that saw to the phone being stolen.it took the combined efforts of friends, relatives and church members to get the police to investigate the case further and when it was discovered that the phone guy wasn't in town at the time of the armed robbery incidence , that's when the police dropped all charges. Police also investigated the armed robber well and found out he had been involved in several other armed robbery operations.

So what I am saying in effect is that this security guy could not or would not provide the names and location of his accomplices .

The car that was tracked and recovered most likely had changed hands and was tracked to someone who bought the car from the armed robbers.

Omo eh, this life u can never trust anyone..
Even the ones who appears innocent..

You are sounding like an activist!
If only you know the percentage of innocent people on death row in our prisons, you wouldn't blink till daybreak.

Sometimes, I think Nigeria's problems may be partly due to overflowing injustice in our land.

And that's why I will never blame any governor thar refuses to sign death warrants.
I know there's so much injustice in the land.

What I don't understand about the governors not willing to sign death warrant - they also don't sign even if it's Shekau they have in jail. Known terrorists should go.

First question, did they break in? If no then you let them through the gate, and for something like this, it will probably be at night, so you allowed someone without appointment in without the oga's knowledge.

2. They took you to your oga, very funny, that means, there was another door and you somehow asked them to open the door for you under false pretense for the robbers to operate.

3. They gave you 100k?πŸ™„πŸ™„ As what, thank you, safe journey, and YOU COLLECTED ITπŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„ WHY? Because you couldn't say NO?

4. You said the other guys were arrested and testified you knew nothingπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ but they released them because?πŸ™„πŸ™„ If they were Yoruba now, you can say they use that fact but NO! You said lawyers, guess what, the only way you get a death penalty for armed robbery is if there's intent to cause harm with both evidence and witnesses, your friends turned on you, that's IF, any of what you said is true, and that is a big IF!

And finally, you said you guys were friends, he brought you to Lagos, got you the Job and within 12 months, the above happened, even with the fact that you were the one telling the story, there was no way for you to explain the above away, imagine when we decide to investigate.
This another perspective.

Yes there is almost similar cases I know of two separate incidents that happened around me.

One was a younger brother to our family friend. A school friend of his whom he hasn't met in years visited the area and they both ran into each other without his knowledge that the guy was a wanted robber in Lagos who is on the run.

They later hanged out in the guys car with 3 of his gang, on their way out they were arrested and guns was discovered in the booth.

After the arrest the other gang members testify that he was innocent but his school friend refused to admit his innocence. He was shoot along with the rest in the presence of his family.

I don't want to type the other one that was shot by the army even when his innocence was proved.

I pray Nigeria never happened to the poor and innocent.

Seriously, I am sorry to say, Nigeria is not a place for sane people. Even the upright has to behave inordinate to survive. I weep for the country. Generally, I think there is something fundamentally wrong with the dark-skinned man. I may be wrong about this, but I speak from observation.
