Cross_over: Justwise, you seem to be a guru on this subject matter. I wanted to ask if the 25k fee that one can pay to speed up the processing of visas also applies to tier 4 applications. And has anyone gone through this route yet. Ur views will be highly appreciated

There is such a fee,only open to non 1st timers doh,visa comes out in 5 working days maximum. I have used it before,got my visa in 3 days(visiting visa). I dunno if ds can be applied to Tier 4 doh.

@Crossover ur best bet is to call the vfs and find out...when u do pls let us know too..

I will like to make some clarifications as regards application for UK Tier 4 visa.

List of documents to submit

1. CAS Letter
2. BSc Cert
3. WAEC Cert
4. Birth Cert
5. Bank Statement of Mum Showing the remaining fees
6. International Passport
7. ECO Statement showing why i was rejected 3years ago
8. Employment Letter
9. Birth Cert of Mum
10. Oanda print-out
11. A letter explaining why i didn't reapply for visa after rejection (I got employment so i decided to shelve my travel plans)
12. Visa fee teller
13. Printout of Application Letter
14. Printout of VFS Appointment Letter

How to apply


1. visa4uk.fco.gov.uk
2. printout the application form
3. vfs.firm.in to book an interview
4. head to the embassy on the interview date to do biometric and submit the above listed documents
5. wait for 15 working days

I will like to know if the steps i have outlined is the way am gonna go about it and if i missed out any documents.

What about the steps on applying? Did i get them right?

Should i state that i have been rejected 2 years ago?

(altho it was that some parts of the dates of some transactions on the bank statement were cutout of the printout and the ECO stated that he was rejecting it based on that though i was asked to reapply with a new bank statement but like i said, i got an employment offer and decided to take it up.)

That I have to leave both the bal fee and living expense intact in my accnt until the visa is out. Pls how true is this and is it mandatory ? I borrowed all my living expense from a society and need to pay it back after 28 days.
Pls advise me.

i also applied for a business visit visa this year but was rejected,going through the list submitted by momo-mufasa. i was wondering do i need to add a letter explaining the reason why i didn't reapply for visa after rejection(anyway,mine was that,the programme that i intended going for was already in session).i want to clarify this.do i need submit a letter in that regard

The business is partially in my name and the primary partner (my Dad) is my sponsor (he has already written a letter of consent). The reason i said i wanted to attach the letter of refusal was because the ECO explained in details why he rejected it. I just felt i should include a letter stating why i didn't re-apply instead of trying to re-write why i was rejected in the first instance.
