Thanks You can apply on Friday, but I would advise you apply the Next Tuesday since Monday is a public holiday. You still have time. If you are in Abuja or near Abuja, then apply in Abuja. If you re in Lagos it doesn't make sense to go apply in Abuja. Apply there in Lagos. You can email your school for a 2 week extension and submit it with your application. |

EmmaIK: Donxavier: A-ZeD:Thanks all, now we can all help others too... How's ur program going @A-Zed? shemy: Thank God for all the pple that have one way or the other assisted pple on this thread. I intend going for my visa application on Monday 20th but now I heard it is a public holiday. The money in my acc will be 28days this thursday, can I apply on Friday? Also which is better and faster: Abuja or Lagos? My school is resuming 24th of September. Thanks Shemy, if you're very, very sure your required closing balance matures on Thursday, then u can go ahead and apply on Friday. Here is how mine went: - Needed about 4.9M but had just over 4.7M. - deposited 200k in my acct to make it up to the required balance on the 20th of June (note that the opening balance for this day is the balance before the deposit was made i.e 4.7M, so it's better to start counting from the next day which would have the opening balance for that day reflect the deposit u made the previous day). - I started counting on the 21st of June and made a transaction on exactly the 28th day (July 18). You may have to wait till the next day for this transaction to reflect. - I printed the statement on July 19 and applied. -August 9, 16th working day from date of application: received the text to come for collection. I hope this helps. |

Very happy seeing all of you here partners.. Banks statements are really torturing my mind. And here is my question; I have issued my bank statement yesterday 12 th August and have made my application on the same day. My bank statement transactions have covered the required 28 days with the required funds needed for maintenance. The problem is that the last transaction date-although has already exceeded the minimum 28 days- is not of the same date of the statement. Last transaction is dated 8th August.. Date of statement is the 12th. Please inform me if I am safe or if I have no chance to correct this... Yehia |

Donxavier: Thank you very much my friend.. In have been reading in some websites that " Closing Balance" means what you have really got on hand the time the bank statement is printed.. I hope 8th of August - the time of a last transaction- would be considered as the closing balance although the statement was printed 4 days later.. I hope i am Supersafe Donxavier |

justwise: Thanks for you care Justwise.. I had paid already all of my tuition fees before I issued they issued my CAS. I had approximately 7500 GBP ( in Egyptian Pounds) from 9th July till 8th August.. The date of my bank statement is 12th of August. I have taken slight amounts of money after that would never by any means get my funds below the required.. I hope you would clarify the plausibility of my statement... Thank you very much |

Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Loriante: 7:14pm On Aug 13, 2012 |
justwise: I have 77,000 Egyptian pounds that would be about 7500 GBP if converted to Pounds Sterling.. What do you think of the whole situation then? |

Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Nobody: 7:44pm On Aug 13, 2012 |
Loriante: I repeat you don't have any problems. The ECO will count 28 days backward from the date of the Last transaction. If all through the period the transactions made on the account didn't go below the required amount you don't have anything to worry about. |
