Gov. Nwifuru Catches Civil Servant Selling Materials Meant For Primary Health Care Centres And Hospitals (Video)

By Wisdom Nwedene, Abakaliki

Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has ordered immediate arrest of some civil servants which he apprehended selling materials meant for the Primary Health Care centres and general hospitals in the State.

In a viral video seen by our correspondent, Governor Nwifuru was shocked seeing the materials which were meant to be distributed free being sold by the government officials.

Speaking over the ugly incident happened, the Special Assistant on New media, Mr Leo Oketa said
"earlier today, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru was out on inspection of projects. While still within the Centenary City premises, he instinctively requested his convoy to reverse into the State Ministry of Health block when he sighted a vehicle loading up some materials."

"Surprisingly, he saw the vehicle loading up for sale, relevant materials meant for the Primary Health Care centres and general hospitals in the State."

I watched the video this morning, This happened close to my house cos I live in the centenary city,he made no mention of the commissioner of health and the permanent secretary cos there is no way they are not involved in this

They are taking his kindness for granted in this state especially those handling contracts

It is good he catch them, I was always wondering why Government hospital would be using exercise book to register patience , now I know. Even if you want to design a Hospital Management System, there is no guarantee of light ... So people needing health services in different location within a state need to register again ..

This is very good of the governor, and the governor shouldn't take it lightly on these uselèss penny thieves, they should be severely punished. This is happening in almost all the states in Nigeria and its very very bad. And to the governor , I just hope you're not stealing any Kobo that's meant for Ebonyi state, because if you do, God will severely deal with you.

Naija a very difficulty country to lead and hard nation to reside.

The same people would be the first to attack and cricticise both state and federal governments for turning Nigeria to pharaoh.

Such audacity.

They were loading into the truck, not caring that the governor was right there.
What a shame. Hopefully all governors too can go out there in disguise, to see exactly what’s happening with people sabotaging the country.

We are our own problem. Very prevalent around me.
Representatives will do an empowerment programs and distribute items meant to empower people but the next week or so, you will see a lot of people selling the same items.
I even saw a guy selling grinding machine distributed by Yayi on Facebook.

Because the man is humble, meek and kind the politicians around his are extremely sabotaging his government. Words on ground are that Nwifuru is not working but he approves sooooo much money which doesn't go down to masses all because of who? Politicians.

If he starts to do like Dave Umahi did by bypassing these politicians and using his own company to get things directly to the people they will start to fight him and also call him wicked, stingy, not carrying politicians along.

Nwifuru's case is exactly like that of Goodluck Jonathan presidency.

Sabotaged by Northern politicians who he awards contracts to, but they betray him because of his sense of kindness.

But when we get a Tinubu, we lament of wickedness, when we get a Nwifuru or Jonathan, we sabotage him and take advantage of him.
