TOPIC: THE JOY OF HEALING AND RESTORATION:

The joy of healing and restoration is the profound sense of renewal and hope that comes from mending brokenness—physically, emotionally, or spiritually. It brings peace, freedom, and gratitude, reflecting God’s transformative power. Whether experienced personally or through helping others, it’s a celebration of wholeness, reconciliation, and the triumph of love.

JESUS' LIFE EXAMPLE:

In Mark 5:25–34, a woman suffering from an issue of blood for twelve years reached out to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment in faith, believing she would be healed. Despite being in a large crowd, Jesus felt power leave Him and turned to address the woman. Instead of rebuking her for interrupting Him, He affirmed her faith, saying,

“...Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your affliction...” (Mark 5:34).

Jesus’ actions demonstrate the transformative joy that comes with healing and restoration. He didn’t just restore her health; He restored her dignity and peace, calling her "daughter," a term of deep affection.

Jesus always took time to care for the hurting, and through His compassion, He brought joy not only to those He healed but also to Himself as He fulfilled His mission to reveal God’s love.

SELF - EXAMINATION:

Helping others heal—whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually—creates a ripple effect of joy. As followers of Christ, you are called to be agents of healing in a broken world. When you show compassion, listen to someone’s pain, or pray for their needs, you reflect the heart of Christ and extend His healing touch.

Healing isn’t always instantaneous or miraculous; it may involve patience, encouragement, or simply being present for someone. Regardless of the outcome, the act of seeking someone’s restoration brings joy to the person being helped and to the one offering help, because it fulfills God’s purpose of love and care.

Consider: Are there people in your life who are hurting? How can you be a source of healing and restoration to them?

ACTION STEPS:

Identify someone who is struggling—physically, emotionally, or spiritually—and take one step to support his healing which can be one of these:

1. Offer a word of encouragement to someone going through a tough time.

2. Pray with or for someone who needs God’s intervention in his life.

3. Be present and lend a listening ear to someone who feels alone or overwhelmed.

Your act of compassion can be a channel through which God’s joy flows into his life and yours.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, thank You for being the ultimate source of healing and restoration. Just as Jesus healed and restored lives, help me to bring healing and hope to those around me. Give me a heart of compassion, the wisdom to discern how I can help, and the courage to reach out. Let my actions reflect Your love and bring joy to those in need. May Your healing power flow through me, touching lives for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I really want to be heal, what happened to me recently I couldn't think as I was blanked out, what an uncle of mine did.

Does healing really happen in this our time,l doubt it, nothing like healing ooo,just brainwashing people to believe they are healed of some ailment.
