‎I ran into this guy's case, he is a PhD holder in Mathematics Education earning less than 70,000 per month in EBSU.

‎This guy's case should be an embarrassment to any Izzi man he approached for assistance but they turned him down.
‎
‎His case should be a shame to EBSU as a whole.

‎This is Dr Enyi onyebuchi Paul
‎From Ikelegu ishieke in Ndiabor community of Ebonyi LGA, Ebonyi state. He got a job at Ebonyi State University in the year 2007 as a cleaner/Messenger.
‎
‎He struggled to see himself through a university education in the same school to the level of PhD in 2022.
‎
‎Since then, they have refused to convert him to an academic staff.
‎
‎EBSU should have converted this man and used him as a reference point for hard work, but he has no one who knows someone who knows another person. He is still a cleaner with a PhD.
‎
‎Under the immediate V.C., six persons from outside the University were allegedly employed in the department he is qualified to work from, but they can't simply convert him. Reason, he knows no one at the top.

‎He has met two principal officers to the current Governor from Izzi and a commissioner, and none of them could help.
‎
‎He can't even get a job elsewhere because he knows no one at the top.

Hmmm, it's a shame that as a son of the state, an alumni of the University, and a qualified person, he has not been noticed or considered for a job in EBSU. On the other hand, he possesses the characteristics of a mediocre person because he has taken his job and the school as his comfort zone to the point that he can't try his hands on other options and locations.

What a wicked set of people

There's more to this story, how did he managed to cater for his education up to PhD level ?

Before blaming anybody we need to ask some questions about this guy.

1) How was his behaviour towards his colleagues and lecturers during his undergrad and when he was employed as a cleaner?

2) Does he share his problem with people? Or he believes since he holds PhD the job would come automatically just like that?

3) Does he positioned himself for available opportunity?

4) Can anyone of his acquittances vouch for him for being a well-mannered person?


If all the above are well ticked by this man, he should be helped asap and given a rapid promotion to teach others that hard work and resilience pays.


And even if his lacking in some of the above,he should be helped also for his doggedness in reaching that academic milestone..... Believe me having PhD in Nigeria no be moinmoin ooo... U go nearly craze with a lot of strong depressing situations from different angles.

A clear example for those who don't believe in spiritual manipulations

Reminds me of that year PhD holders applied for driving position at Dangote. I don't have anything to say, those analysing the matter should continue.

I know why. This "Ph.D" is probably not worth the paper it's written on. Yes, I said it. Nigerian State Universities are Ph.D mills.
