You guys are more concern about the yoruba states. Wao! Your states are non motorable,people live in shambles. They call themselves 100% christians but they are ritual people. The affluent can not marry Osu. These are the people that call themselves the elites. They claim to be better than everybody but they can not even stand to live OR stay in their own states because their places are unbearable.
They have no regard for human live because they are too busy chasing the devils. Bunch of hypocrites.

Your success is will be determined by your Neighbors.

How does the North have access to land? Do they own the land in the neighbouring countries from which they will import stuff? I told you you are a complete illiterate. Like I said, many o the waterways in SS are owned by Igbo speaking people (Opobo, Ahoada, Ikwerre, Etche). When the die is cast, do you believe these people will prefer to be with Ijaw as second class citizens than with their fellow Igbos as a united Igbo?

Anambra is rich in natural gas, crude oil, bauxite, ceramic and has an almost 100 percent arable soil.
In the year 2006, foundation laying ceremony for the first Nigerian private refinery Orient Petroleum Refinery (OPR) was made at Nsugbe-Umuleri area [1]. The Orient Petroleum Resource Ltd, (OPRL) owners of OPR, was licensed in June 2002, by the Federal Government to construct a private refinery with a 55,000 b/d capacity.
Furthermore, Anambra state is a state that has many other resources in terms of agro-based activities like fishery and farming, as well as land cultivated for pasturing and animal husbandry.
Currently,Anambra State has the lowest poverty rate in Nigeria.

The question is, if Yoruba land would be in existence by then, because from all indications Yoruba land would have been covered in water due to the looming global warming and this will see the SE having real assess to the damn sea grin grin grin grin

If you doubt, here is a report to prove that you guys are presently living and sitting on the keg of a gun power. Soon and ver soon you guys would have landed in the Atlantic ocean:

"The effects of sea-level rise will be most “dramatic” in Nigeria's economic capital Lagos which is just five metres above sea level, with some parts of the city lying below sea-level, Cramer said.

The flooding is likely be most severe in Lagos because of its position at the southern end of the Gulf of Guinea where stronger tropical storms from the South Atlantic create storm surges up to three metres high, Cramer said. He estimates that most of the 15 million inhabitants of Lagos will be displaced."

http://www.irinnews.org/Report.aspx?ReportId=79986

The Ocean affecting  Lagos can never give the SE access to the Ocean.

He estimates that most of the 15 million inhabitants of Lagos will be displaced and Nigeria’s southern Delta region where oil installations are located will also be swamped.

Other major urban centres in West Africa which experts have identified as at risk of flooding are Banjul in The Gambia, Bissau in Guinea Bissau, and Nouakchott in Mauritania. All three capitals are at or close to sea level.

Some of the best roads in Nigeria are in the East, especially the state roads. We have trashed this our on NL in the past. Where are the good roads in Yaribaland? Can you tell me how you care for poor Yorubas better than Igbos? Can you tell me any Yoruba city (excepting Lagos built by Igbos and other Nigerians) better than any Igbo city?

maybe some are hoping the disappearance of the lower parts of the coast jutting out into the sea, are what will give them access to the ocean.

the convoluted thinking occasionally takes time to decipher.

Like Igbos, they will also depend on their neighbours , yes or no? And some of those neighbours will be Igbo. They will have to pass thru Igboland in the eastern flank to get to the North and thru other zones too. You are a slowpoke.

What do you even mean by SS? What about the Igbos in SS? The highest ranking Igbo man in Ohaneze Ndigbo is from SS. Is that lost to you?

I did not know Chad, Niger and other countries north of Nigeria have oceans too that the North will ship their goods from.

Igbos will use all means to survive including using the waterways in the Igbo-speaking SS, including air shipments, including trading with non-hostile neighbours. We do not have boundaries with the SW or the core North. Those are the enemies. We have no problem with our neighbours (SS and NC) You will have to ask yourself how many countries will emanate from Nigeria when we do separate

I ask you again, what is the correlation between access to ocean and national prosperity?

The Yorubas bigots have gotten their wish, thread turned into tribal bashing. silly people

They tried to teach you their Igbo traders in that bridge too but you wouldn't listen.

You had to do the tribal bashing, now the SE has started their own.

Oya NL warriors from SW where you dey now?

Always provoking fighting, stop poking people.

@SE Igbo
Stop!!! You've said your own, that should have been the end of it.

No need to retaliate all the time. There is some things that shouldn't have turned into retaliation bashing even if someone is provoking una.

@Igbo and Yoruba
The bigotry on both sides gets irritating after awhile. Focus on topic for once and stop derailing to bash eachother.

The imminent disappearance of Yaribaland will be two-pronged: inland flooding in the plains of Oyo, Osun and Ekiti (yes all these states are severely flood-prone) and ocean surge from Lagos, Ogun and Ondo. Its gonna be total wipe out in 50 years grin grin grin grin grin
