That was a very detailed and well-reasoned "summary" that you made (compared to all the knee-jerk reactions, and some wont even be able read it sef! ).

Our problem in this country is "deep-seated". Corruption has eaten so deep into the Nigerian fabric, so much so that it has "spawned offsprings" in forms of "inhumanity, extreme criminality lack of human feelings and this "dog-eat-dog" approach to life"!

Its been going on for long an l just wonder what and how long it will take to turn this country and its people around (to normalcy or normal humans)?

But if we must start or even try to make an attempt to start, such endeavor has to start with the "LEADERSHIP".

Leadership shows the way, they lead the way and it is easier to "whip populace into line" if the leadership leads by example.

Unfortunately, what we lack most in this country right now, is any semblance of leadership, from the Nucleus Family to the Federal Government!

that's what you get when you recruit touts and hulligance to monitor sensitive department such as traffic. Can you ever get that from FRSC? Impossicant! If you run away from them, they will deal with you in a very civillised manner.
I witnessed a scene at Onipanu Bus Stop when the LASTMA guy was struggling with steering, he was not even afraid of his own life talk less of the passenger. A man fainted as a result of that shock.
Fashola must do something about them.
The idea of LASTMA is very wonderful, but the people recruited and their manner of operation attimes is so disheartening.
