check just Fontaine, Raymond kopa and host of others who were important players for France than Henry.
Read what they wrote about thiery Henry;

Thierry Henry's international career will probably always be remembered for that handball to prevent Ireland from reaching this summer's World Cup, but if that is the case it is a great shame, as a truly remarkable career would be forgotten.

With 119 caps, Henry is the second most capped French player in history, with a chance to increase his tally even further in South Africa. He already holds the French goalscoring record with 51, ten goals clear of second place Michel Platini.

Henry was part of the both 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 winning sides as well as helping France to the Confederations Cup trophy in 2003 and the World Cup final in 2006.

A summary of Henry's individual awards is as follows:

Bros please comparing King Henry to Drogba is an abomination. I am a big fan of both players, but Henry was a beauty to watch during his 8 years period at Arsenal I won't forget his goals against United the crazy free-kick against Barthez and also his memorable goal against Liverpool, when he took on the entire Liverpool defence line.

Henry was the complete package during his time at Arsenal, he had mad skills, speed, excellent touch, he mastered the act of finishing. I think he even invented the style of finishing the requires a player to wait for the keeper to hit the deck, lean to a corner and calmly slot the ball the other way. The only reason Henry didn't win the Ballon d'or was the mercurial and superb Ronaldinho of 2003 - 2004

Double D himself won't be happy with you for saying he is better than Henry. Take nothing away from Didier, he was a man for the big occasion.... His FA Cup winning goal against United will forever remain in my memory... the way the commentator screamed his name,....DROOOOGBA

I saw this. I am surprised to see Rooney has a better goals to matches played return than Owen. This is despite Owen being an out and out striker for England. From criticism, I thought it was Owen far ahead of Rooney.

Owen is far ahead of Rooney and he has better goals ratio than Rooney.

I didn't see time.

Owen was a striker throughout and should ordinary have more goals. Rooney was playing behind all of them including Heskey, Crouch, Defoe, Carol, Welbeck and Sturridge. He also played in the wing.

A guy with your IQ should have a low voice too

Quote where I said mata and herrera are better than pedro and Cesc

Now let's assume I really said they were better, how does starting a football match prove otherwise? Is fabegras even better than koke as we speak? If you weren't that stoopid you'd know that fabregas starting has to do with experience, you would play mata on the wing instead of pedro right? Are you a fool?

Koke is stronger and suitable to any team .....I would pick him as my CMF ahead of Fabregas because Fab can be a burden sometimes..... But if you are talking about talent Fabregas destroys Koke.....
Spanish football don't care about power,Fabregas will always start ahead of Koke.......

Yeah, Owen was a striker but looking at the appearances will not tell you the true picture. If you look at their time, you will see that Owen had more goals ration as a striker than Rooney.

Rooney - 8030 - 49 goals

Owen - 5962 - 40 goals

Diff. - 2068 divided by 90 = 22.98 games

You can now see that Rooney played more than 22 games in the National team than Owen

It's still a small Gap.

Owen 150 minutes per goal.
Rooney 164 minutes per goal.

Both need to play two matches to score a goal, yet Owen was a striker.

Like I said earlier...
Considering our ambitions this season, the Room for improvement you talked about must be balanced with the player's immediate contribution to the team. You yourself don talk am on numerous occasions say we need winger wey better pass them young, januzaj etc. I've never rated ashley young but with the lacklustre & uninspiring performances I have seen from Depay so far, Young seems to be a "world class" winger at the club & this even negates the purpose of the purchase in the 1st place.

In the last 18 months, the club has spent £230m- £250m on transfers alone. For me, this kinda money isn't "we are building for the future" kinda money. This is 2015 - heavy spending is done with the intention of getting immediate results. It's even a shame we can't even send jitters down the spines of opponents & be seen as title contenders despite spending this much.
well @ last posterity will pass accurate verdict, we can only foretell @ this point.
We have let more players leave than we have brought in, we were in unison in acknowledgement of the magnitude of LvG's assignment when he arrived & so far he is on the right path to redemption.
Minimum target was met last season, on that ground we should have some faith in his blueprint.

My own thought is simple,
LVG don gamble our season on Memphis and Martial from monaco.
If we perform better than last season we'll call him a genius if we don't the fans will crucify him.
From your observation of Woodward's transfer dealings, do you think we are set up to perform better or worse this season?

Around the same fourth or 3rd position.
Sometimes I can even understand why we chose youth and potential over veterans and superstars seeing as how last season went.
I just don't know where the goals will come from.

riddle of our season, still anything is possible. Last term we thought our attack was the shiit, rather it was Young, Fellaini & Herrera popping up with purpose in the run-in...

That is not a small gap. So you want to tell me that Rooney never played as a Striker in the national team. Also, Rooney has a higher number of penalty opportunities than Owen.
