The perfect opportunity presented itself late last year when LVG shoulda been kicked out unceremoniously with the Welshman stepping in till the end of the season after which his performances would be evaluated and a decision would be taken but alas, Mr Woodward had other ideas.

Look at Real Madrid. I was actually among those who felt that the inexperienced Zidane was gonna be worse than Benitez but heck - the man has done remarkably well so far and from the look of things, Madrid ain't gonna be looking to replace him till further notice.

Let's be honest with ourselves - hiring a Manager who got sacked for battling relegation at a top team a few months ago cannot really be seen as the "way forward"....at the same time, Mou's track record keeps tempting lots of fans. Funny enough, look where LVG's "track record" has landed us!!

I just hope the club takes a decision that would turn out well...
