Nihilist:perhaps you misunderstand. You don't have high passing accuracy (highest in a league) when you are parking the bus - simple reason is you barely have possession of the ball & the first instinct of such system is to clear their lines. If we are taking his picture @ face value, he's still not wildly off the mark. |

dopeJemi:Lmao. At the end of the season, God forbid we miss out on top four, i guess i'll just fold my hands and be happy at how we created the most chances per fûcking possession. What's d use of chances created if we aren't scoring goals and winning games. We no park bus. We are creating chances. Yet, we are one of the lowest scoring teams in the top 6. Instead of admitting the flaws in Mourinho's tactics, u are here shouting chances created and hailing Pass Accuracy. In d long run, Who these mediocre stats wan epp?? Look, last i checked, this thread was not in ur name and i had the freedom to support my club in anyway i wanted. So stop wailing and gnashing ur teeth in my mentions. Afterall, i no mention u. Lana1: As the team no dey score the goals, carry your traveling bag, go airport, enter plane go England, wear boots, enter field, score the goals yourself as na you sabi pass, if at the end of the season we don't finish top four, it's simple, port to the teams that score enough goals, it's not hard at all After coming here to spew hogwash about us parking the bus, you are yet to back up that claim and i'm double daring you to do so, when we were having 3, 4 shots on target under van gaal, nobody claimed we were parking the bus, now we dey get double figures on target but scoring only a few, because na Mourinho, we are parking the bus Look, last i checked, this thread was not in ur name and i had the freedom to support my club in anyway i wanted. SailorXY: It is disgraceful to say the least, i've been so distant from this thread because of the negative energy here and to think it is coming from our own is disgraceful They want pep, they want this, they want that, okay pep is taken, the closest to pep is who we've got but Noooooo, if mourinho cannot take us back to where we once were then no one will except fergie comes back and it will even take him time to do that 6 Likes |

Lana1: Lol. If Mourinho loses that match, he's worthless in your eyes. No forgiving him on that one. I wish Bailly and Smalling were fit, I don't care about Ibrahomovic. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 8:40am On Nov 14, 2016 |
Lana, our major problem is scoring goals, and sadly goals win you matches. So whatever happens at the end of the season, Mourinho will take the blame alone. After all he went and bought the lethargic and wasteful Ibra. Nobody forced it on him, but generally, we're not playing bad, just missing a good striker to finish off our chances. I wanted to give Mourinho until January before I'll judge him, but after reading some editorials, I'll give him till next season. Hiring and sacking midway into the season is not the solution. SAF wasn't great when he started, but he went on to be a legend. I'll support Mourinho no matter what the outcome of this season is, by next season, he'll have no excuse in my eyes. That's my opinion. I believe this team will come good, but Mourinho needs to buckle up and step on toes. We need more addition too coz the injury is just too annoying. 1 Like |

Dopejemi and Lana abeg make una sheathe swords. You guys are 2 correct guys, no need for the insults IMO. We all want the best for the club, we just have different views of how this can be achieved. Personally i believe Mourinho could have done better this season especially with the expenditure and the players we have. However we have to support him as manager and see how things pan out. Sacking him now or even at the end of the season is unlikely to solve the problem UNLESS it is a 60yr old SAF who is getting the job next. 2 Likes |

Injury Updates.......!!! It remains unclear whether Luke Shaw will be available for selection when Arsenal visit Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday. Marouane Fellaini is also presumably a doubt for that match, after Belgium manager Roberto Martinez confirmed his return to United with a calf injury last week. Antonio Valencia and Eric Bailly are definitely unavailable with long-term injuries, while the severity of Chris Smalling’s problem is yet to be confirmed by the club’s medical team. Arsenal, meanwhile, are sweating on the fitness of Alexis Sanchez after the former Barcelona man suffered a muscle injury while training with Chile during the first week of the international break. Long-term absentees Hector Bellerin, Lucas Perez, Santi Cazorla, Per Mertesacker and former United striker Danny Welbeck will also miss out on the blockbuster game at the Theatre of Dreams. |

"I have come here because Mourinho has given me the opportunity to take on a new position and I feel comfortable with it. "I'm more defensive now, playing in front of the back four. "Mourinho’s an attacking coach; what he’s not is a kamikaze: he doesn’t have us playing like mad men. He likes the ‘rest defence’ but he’s an attacking coach who gives players freedom. "He’s also honest, sincere, says what he thinks to your face. If a coach isn’t honest, players rumble him. There’s a very good relationship. Mourinho’s very straight.” - Ander Herrera |

Hi everyone, Today I’m writing from London. We have landed here from Granada after Saturday’s game against Macedonia. We are staying in a hotel just opposite the stadium and from my room I can see this historic venue where I have had very exciting moments. As I said before, last Saturday we got an important win against Macedonia to follow the pace of Italy and Israel and remain on top of the group. In particular, I’d like to congratulate Aduriz for a historic goal (it’s commendable that he keeps himself in such a good shape year after year), and Monreal for his first goal with Spain. Before taking a break with the national team until March, we have a special date. As you know, Wembley brings me very good memories, such as my – so far – two titles with Manchester United (the FA Cup and the Community Shield this year), together with the 2012 FA Cup when I was playing in Chelsea, which was my first trophy in England. Following this friendly game, all the players from Manchester United will go back home to get ready for a frenetic second half of November: four games in Old Trafford. The team is eager to find a good streak and after defeating Swansea we are looking forward to playing Arsenal at the weekend. We want to give our best and a good atmosphere at the stadium, as always when we play against Arsenal, can take us one step closer to the victory. The top end of the Premier League table is very tight and we are going to work hard to keep a good streak and approach those top spots. Have a nice week. I hope you can enjoy a great night at Wembley. Hugs, Juan |

Abeg this memphis depay needs to shut the hell up! This is how he always comes up with statements about him kicking on but never puts in the graft to ensure he rises to the top! His personal life is filled with balling and I've heard he does not even put in a decent shift in training sessions! If he thinks he would find it easier in everton then he is on a long thing! Himself and Morgan just seem to be bang average players who are more interested in checks than consistency! He in particular can sod off! Plonker......

"I don't know if I will get a chance, but I hope so. I still feel fit at 32 and certainly want to play more years at the top level, and of course I want to win things. "We won the FA Cup last year and that was also one of my aims. Of course it would be great to play for United in the Premier League and perhaps win it. "If I am needed, I will give everything -- I am ready. I'm not one to think of burying my head in the sand. "My rhythm is good -- of course it's different when you play each weekend compared with when you are only training --- but I enjoy my football." - Bastian Schweinsteiger |
