When Scholes criticized Jose and Pogba the other day, most people here and probably red cafe were just short of calling Scholes a city fan. They were unanimous is shouting Scholes down. It will be clearer very soon don't worry. Pogba can't be trusted with having a decent game in the middle of the pitch, he should be given license to move further up without bothering himself with tracking opposition runs. Yes he is very lazy. A third midfielder is very necessary. I wonder how Mourinho can't see this but was very quick to shut down Scholes.

The fact that he chose to go after Sanchez when the position we are really lacking is RW and CM is really worrisome. Sanchez is a fantastic buy, one we should be making, but it shouldn't be at the detriment of other key positions. I don't know what Pogba has promised him or what he has seen in Pogba that has created this belief but Pogba is not the midfield maestro we need to wrestle the middle from opponents. Yes he may have one or two great games but that is it.

Now that Jose got Sanchez, the best formation he should be adopting is the 433 IMO. He should forget having a RW and give us 3 CM with different roles.

When I complain about the team, it's not because of the bad result but how the team was overrun by below average Joes. It's just so annoying especially after spending this much, with players on fat salary. Jose should be on the stand shouting on these bunch of babies to put more effort instead of waiting for half chances. If used in the right way, Pogba is still easily a top 3 player at united.

I really like Valencia. One of my favourite players from the current squad but I can't get over how bad his crossing is generally. That's an area I feel we need to improve.

We were handed one of the easiest groups and had to come back from behind in the last game to qualify and secure top position. It wasn't business as usual for the United we should be. I'm aware we're coming from a difficult position, having not played CL regularly for a while but you've gotta ask for more with the crop of players we've got.
