Your salary, rent, profit from business, dividends, coupons etc the combination of all these will give you your income.

It is always good if your salary and hustles contribute 50% or less of your income

Compound annual growth rate of 17.5%.

Any Investment that gives an annual return of 15% to 20% is too good.

Some have long term bonds of 16% and above

N10 million at an annual growth rate of 10% will grow to N26 million in 10 years due to compound interest.

Compound interest in the 8th wonder of the world.

Sir, read Who Moved my Cheese.....

While the NTB euphoria was on....smart guys were buying long-term FGN Bonds at ridiculous discount prices.....

Now they are sleeping and getting their coupons and reinvesting them in good dividend paying equities.

Things i learnt from my Oga ....after his phd and lecturing job he found out that salary cannot make him rich and retired at 40 ....he started investing very early using 20 percent of his income ......he narrowed to two items ....real estate and Good shares ....his real estate portfolios exceeds 5 bn naira ...so i ask him why is he selling some properties (some people might think he broke)..he said no cos he buy properties as investments and once he earn 100 percent above within 5 years he let go....he not emotional attached to any property ...only his family home ....2 he is in audit committe of several companies and director in some .

And those 16.5% were being sold at 18-19% discount rates, making gains of millions of naira already the day you bought it...

Now FGN Bonds market is bullish to old investors......but guys are still not selling due to the ridiculous prices smart guys bought them may not come easily again, so na to de chop 6 montuly coupons till 2037, 2049 and 2050

Same here, TB gave a better return never thought of buying 20 years bond at 16% and diversify the returns.

Most of those digital agriculture are ponzi scheme in disguise.
Anyone who has been into practical agriculture in Nigeria will know tha the returns they are promising are not realistic and not sustainable.

As for forex, if he can trade himself, good but if it is about giving money to some group of people claiming to be experts in forex trading, I will say no.
