Yes that is United Capital website. You can mail through the customer care e-mail address on that website of your intentions of opening account with them or you can download their Mobile App (Investnow), register and open account through there. The former is easier sha.

Oga Emma and the Gurus in the house greetings. I have a personal question and I need suggestions and advice. I have read and still reading about investment in bonds vs real estate.
I inherited my late parents properties, and I am thinking of selling off one of the buildings and plunge into the bonds market. Doing that I will become a tenant which I already am, since I have relocated from the city where the buildings reside. I believe I can raise 25M or more from the sale of any of the two properties.
Both properties generate roughly #1.2M in rental income. When I know I can easily get at least 2M if I invest 20M in bonds.
Of course it makes sense to sell. But, emotions and sentiment are in play here. My relatives will see me as 'Efulefu', who can't go out there to build his own wealth. I'm Igbo and we frown at sons who sells off their inheritance, even if it is to build more wealth from the proceed of the sale. Also, I am worried about this land sale 'curse', since I am not going to invest in another piece of real estate, but instead wants to invest in Bonds.

Having properties these days is more of a thing of pride, if you have more than one property, selling one to invest in bonds is not a bad idea.
Where is the property located?

Before selling consider the prospects of the area for future rapid development, if it's not likely to have an explosive growth over the next 5 years, selling it off might be the best.

By 2023 properties will lose quite a lot of value, massive migration out of Nigeria is looming, economic hardship is worsening, currency devaluation is imminent.

I am happy to announce that I have joined Satguru Travel as a Marketing Executive (Corporate and Retail Travel) . I resigned from my position with investment one last month.

I am grateful for the few months i spent promoting the firm here on Nairaland.

My time with Investment one has been productive, enjoyable and one filled with tremendous personal growth all thanks to the faceless Forum. My first post here I was called a scammer but nevertheless I was able to prove otherwise. I have been able to further develop my marketing skills and have gained in-depth knowledge of the Investment space something I knew almost nothing about when I joined Investment One.

Thank you so much for trusting me with your Investment needs, and if I can ever be of help to you, please let me know.

Lastly I noticed a lot of prospective client are now interested in the Fintech space If you will want to consider any Fintech i will strongly advice the Ziing mobile app from Investment one which guarantees both your capital and ROI the Ziing app savings features guarantees 4% on your savings account and with no limit to the numbers of withdrawal.
it’s comforting to know that Emmasoft,is readily available to answer all questions relating to the app and definitely other products.
Sincerely,

Goriola David

Never ever make the mistake of selling if u are not in the cadre of pa elewummi that have built and restructured so many properties...........
Thank God ur parents bequitted something to u, u have an asset that is generating income if properly managed, the asset also appreciates with the general realities on ground......it's better u live off the income generated from the asset than sell and still get trapped in the Inflation we all r running from

Maybe I forgot to add that apart from tenant not meeting up to their obligations as at when due and sometimes paying rents in bits, most of the income generated goes into maintenance as both properties and the one in the village are all over 30years in existence. For instance, I have two fences to rebuild and one that is structurally weak as at the moment. One of the fences is going to gulp over 400k and the other maybe 250k or more. Every other year I am always doing maintenance on one leaking roof or the other. Then the soakaway pits also get their own allocation.
So, at the end of the day I will have to dip hands into my own pockets to keep up with the whole maintenance stuff.

Why dip your own hand in your pockets, tenants should be able to take care of their own sh!ts and not you. What's is the maintenance claise in your tenancy agreement?

Take the info you need from it. I will not post NTB auction results again. The auction results information can be obtained from your bank or broker if you ask nicely. Will delete my post above to affirm my position.

Any reason for the above decision, will love to know how it impacts on your finances? If everyone witholds info at their disposal then we don't need to be here and that's injustice to new entrants.

That they will contribute to evacuate the soakaway. But the blocks abi ground around the soakaway has been cracking and caving in. So that one is solely my responsibility.

Landlord is responsible for external repairs and maintenance, drainage and soak away etc tenants for responsible for repairs in their apartments.

Roofing, water supply, fence etc are the responsibility of the landlord

Noted. Sorry. In hindsight it was a simple question you asked. My bank sends it to me when I ask them for it. I do not ask for it following every NTB auction. I asked for it because it was asked for by another user as well as yourself yesterday and no one responded. So I asked for it this morning. It is posted again below.
