Yes o. Am beginning to adopt to d new nairaland. Atleast, its no longer pricking my eyes. Good for lagos. D city is a civilised city so uncivilised people shouldn't make it an uncivilised state. If not, one day some people will surely go and spread bedsheets, washed carpets and rugs on the railings of third mainland bridge. 2 Likes |

Don't mind them o Jare dear commissioner, some people are even spreading theirs on electric poles, make sure you arrest them too or else they will simply come back tomorrow and spread towels and underwear instead! This Commissioner is really 'working' to make Lagos a saner place for people to live in. <I wonder when they will do something about agberos?> |
Re: Lagos To Seize Clothes Spread In Open Places by Jemibee: 10:37am On Mar 15, 2012 |
I concur !! That's what they should do jare...Lagos and it's unlawful residents. I tire for them ooo I remember my late mom never allowed any of her tenants do such. Even if she didn't live in the same compound, she used to go on unscheduled visits and once she saw such, she always drew their attention to it saying it made the whole place look unkept. |

At least let there be decency and sanity in doing things...to spread cloths on outside railings or exposed areas is improper especially on highways. Kudos to Commissioner for Environment once again!! |

Erm,Mr commissioner, what is the health and environmental implications of spreading clothes on balcony railings? Why not ask your moms if this practice has not been on before you were born. You're just in need of serious media and public attention, probably due to neglect you suffered as a child. I can't even imagine any of your agents intruding my privacy and residence to effect your stupid order ,because I'm an addicted balcony railings, clothes spreader. 2 Likes |
