And they've finished running from city to city, from your perspective.
At least, we can thank God that you read that Jesus said that no man knows the time. Keep wishing the Bible's wrong, i'm waiting for Jesus, go and pray if that bothers you.

It didn't happen, they are all dead, its a false promise. . .Keep praying, you will wait and pray and nothing will happen, the entire Jesus story is a fable just like the Mohammed story. . .Keep praying and waiting. . .Jesus said no one knows the hour and the day. . But he told his disciples he will come before they finish running round Israel. . .

I'd prefer hell to heaven. A place non-beleivers are burned alive after they die.
Wait what!!?

Okay then, like i said, go and pray if that bothers you. I'm not bothered, thank you.

Well how great could God and “his” heavenly habitat be if a third of the angels in the original cast sided with Lucifer in his heavenly coup against this awesome entity and attractive abode? Why risk such luxury if everything was perfect before?

They must have been disillusioned before teaming up with Lucifer.

God 'threw' them out of Heaven. They did not fall because of a dissatisfaction of Heaven.

Yes I know they did not fall "because of dissatisfaction of heaven" and I was not implying that.

However I was contemplating why they chose to oppose God when they were in an abode that was apparently perfect and sufficient.

Maybe they became disenchanted or perhaps seduced by Lucifer, I was merely speculating and offering a suggestion. It's not something I would peddle as fact because I’m not certain however their betrayal may have served to highlight that heaven was not at all flawless.

They wanted to be like God, to be worshipped. It's not a disenchantment with God, they wanted to be Him. That you offend in school doesn't mean you're tired of your school.

Ok. I’m no expert on the Bible even though I’m an avid reader and that’s why I ask many questions even though I may be wrong in some of my assertions.

However what I do know according to the Bible is that it was Lucifer who wanted to be like God not “they” other angels who supported Lucifer in his rebellion. “They” supporting Lucifer is what I was more curious about. Why would they dare God in such a way? Were they not content already? Why would they need to support Lucifer if heaven was already sufficient? . . .maybe Lucifer seduced them with offers. . .maybe some wanted a promotion in their ranks. . .maybe some were loyal to Lucifer. . .which either way I look at it . . .it strikes me as rather inconsistent for some entities in a perfect realm to have such intentions, to have a mind of rebellion highlights perhaps heaven or at least the former heaven was not perfect. There was an actual battle in heaven. How can such a perfect atmosphere breed rebellion?

Exactly, dear friend Emofine.
No one rebels against the other, for no reason.
But back to the initial statement:
I imagine that heaven, with angels hacks (I hate feathers), asexual women whose most erotic position is kneeling with both hands near his mouth praying all the time! ... Walking barefoot all the time on the cold clouds .. . wear white (like an internship at a mental hospital) ...
As if that were not enough, I guess playing the harp to God day and night (there are versions that claim that God plays the harp badly wrong) ... my ears hurt just thinking about it ...
If that is the prize that awaits me suffer in this "vale of tears," I prefer a punishment.
Catholics say that have no feathers and women devils are sexy, sure fire heat in winter, the sex is allowed, and if you want to drink a glass of wine, no one will talk about is sin ...

Beyond the irony of my answer, his approach is very serious and correct estimated Emofine ...
The stereotypes of heaven and hell were created on the basis of terror (which is the mechanism most often used by some religions, and has proved very profitable).
On purgatory is better not to comment, as purgatory was invented long after the death of Jesus, in one of the many councils who sought to give credibility to certain things that can not withstand the scrutiny.
But not all religions have heaven and hell ...
Not all "gods" created punish their eternal torture ...
"Our house is Orun, Aiye is a market"
Best wishes!

They were deceived to thinking they'd fare better outside God's purpose for them. They were deceived not dissatisfied. Devil wasn't dissatisfied with Heaven, he was dissatisfied with God. His punishment was to be denied Heaven, and he fights tooth and nail today, to make sure man doesn't 'make' Heaven.

That is the vesion of God.
Perhaps the devil is another version. Nothing assures us that the devil so tired of arbitrariness, as God allowed bigamy see your friends (Abraham, David, etc) and that God would project the total destruction of entire villages in your name, the devil has started a revolution ...
Or simply the devil have decided to leave, because as I said at the time, God plays the harp horribly wrong ... (not even the devil can stand)
Anyway, was a big mistake of god create the devil ...
