The exams he wrote was for 64thRC and that means REGULAR COMMISSIONING not dssc or ssc. Army SSC or DSSC no get entrance exams.

64thRC. Its for dos ppl dat re wit waec. U will study for 4/5 yrs in nd a befor u graduate. Unlike dis dssc/ssc which is 9months.

it is the ssc.this is because u re taught the rudiments of warfare and every other things that NDA guys re taught.the former NYSC director tsiga was an ssc guy,bamaiyi during the abacha regime was an ssc guy including some of the presently serving G.O.C"s.dssc is difficult in that age may not be on ur side because they require u to be btw 22-35 yrs while ssc is 24-28 yrs.most of the courses advertised in dssc re done in NDA with the exeption of doctors who easily converts and can even become directors of medical services,nigerian army withthe rank of major general.

Hello all,

Have we taken time to read the conditions of service for SSC & DSSC criteria?

SSC: SSC will be granted for 10 years. Six years will be on active list renewable thereafter for a period up to 3 years. No extension is admitted after the ninth year of commission except on conversion to regular combatant where applicable.

DSSC: Direct Short Service Commission will be granted for[b] 10 years[/b], for an initial probation period of 3 years, renewable yearly for another period of 7 years. Direct Regular Commission may be granted on conversion after 3 years as commissioned officer.


One needs to seriously consider the bolded lines.

The PIN will be available tomorrow so let's pray so that we are gonna get it to buy @ any Ecobank because am not sure Unity and Union sells the pin

Head that the pin is sold in the Army head quaters for now and also access bank too sell the pin and. That there is no go ahead from their Oga @ the top to send the pins to all branches Of banks to start selling! So keep ur fingers crossed folks

Please guys, is it advisable of someone to go ahead applying for SSC instead for DSSC when one's discipline is stated in the DSSC?
