Bousquet has never been world best in his position, he was a carry along player during Barca dominant days, he was just like Valdez in the team. Valdez’s usefulness was to pass from the back, he wasn’t great in terms of making saves which was supposed to be his primary role, same with Bousquet that can not defend as a defensive midfielder, he was just there to make short passes to either xavi or iniesta.
