Possesion football in General requires the defenders to push up to fill the space vacated by the bunkering opposition- it is not uncommon to see the Center Backs around the Center circle when playing Possesion football.

Positional discipline only ever comes into play when a team is defending- Considering that Bayern was constantly on the attack, had a lot more of the ball, had us pinned down in our half for large periods of the game, and only conceded on fast breaks, I fail to see how Alaba exhibited poor positioning or indiscipline.
