I asked you to give me players currently on injuries and the "not-so-good" replacements. You dont need to give me progress reports. All the replacements above have a very high chance of starting a match in other teams.

When Tottenham and Arsenal were performing poorly, sacking their coaches were justified. But when City loses, its not entirely Pep's fault. Its injuries (of how many players sef?) that is a major problem.

And i'll appreciate if you just delete the bolded. Sincerely, its very funny, and you of all people shouldnt be typing that
I don't know about Emery but Pochetino sacking was harsh I particularly felt he should have been allowed to finish the season. Also Managers are usually sacked when there is a complete fall out with key players or when performances are way below expectations.

About the fault ish, one cannot Just lay everything at the feet of the manager. As bad as we were under Mourinho there was a general feeling the players were the problem. You cannot say man City problems this season is down to just Pep management.

Manchester City beat Liverpool last season to carry the league. Liverpool is still using the same set of players they used last season...No addition to the squad

The same City that carried the league last season is trailing Liverpool with over 13 points. City currently has 2 first team players on injuries. Liverpool currently has 5 first team players on injuries.

Please, whose table should this buck stop? Laporte or Pep?

You guys should stop defending Pep as if he's God. He's human and can fall at any time

Chamberlain was a key member of Liverpool's when they reached the UCL final 2 seasons ago, he was injured for a year and nobody complained. Fabinho is just as important for Liverpool as Laporte is for City. Overall, Liverpool have had to deal with more injuries to their first team squad but nobody is using it as an excuse.

Regarding City winning the league when Manchester United and Arsenal were in the peak of their powers, I'd say it will be very difficult maybe a title here or there but they wouldn't dominate the league...

How many games did this key Chamberlain start for Liverpool to get to the CL final. Note Liverpool played 12 games before the final which is a total of 1080mins

Just so we know how key this Oxlade was to Liverpool

So Lyon won't sell Dembele

Timo doesn't want to leave in January (obviously, given his form and his teams position)

Sancho has decided yet.

Nothing about SAF is subjective, he managed to keep his players motivated over time, something Pep is struggling to do...This one isn't debatable.

Who were the teams Ferguson was competing against? You think if Pep only had to deal with Arsenal Blackburn Newcastle etc he wont win all the time

If Liverpool win the league this season that will mean Pep lost the league to teams with 93points and above. Pep coached at a time where only 90plus points win the league. In Ferguson's 26yrs how many times did the league winner have 93points and above

See how easy it is to use points difference to argue yet if someone claims Pep's team is better the ones other managers met, you'd argue otherwise...

How do you know Peps team was better than the team Mourinho met in 2004 for example

So one goal is what makes a player key?

Turning up when it matters the most does I guess. If not for his injury, Chamberlain definitely would have played a huge role in that final for sure.

That "one goal" u are trying to make look irrelevant is probably the reason why Pep is still without a semifinal appearance in a non-local competition since he came to England.

Liverpool scored 5 goals vs City. Oxlade scored 1

Liverpool played 1080 minutes before the final, Oxlade played 300.

So a player that played about a 3rd of the minutes is the key player to get to the final. I am sure at least 11 players had more minutes than Oxlade to get to that final

Was Origi a key player for Liverpool last season??

How many minutes of champions league football did he have under his belt b4 the Barca game?

My brother you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Only thing is to try and change the system to suit him.

If you ask Messi today, he will tell you he is still learning and adding new things to his football. Otamendi is not beyond repair, give him to Klopp, he will not be this useless.

Origi scored 2 goal out of 4 needed to eliminate Barca, Origi scored 1 of 2 goals needed to eliminate Spurs

Origi scored 50% of goals Liverpool scored in semi finals and finals

Remove origis goals and Liverpool wont even make the final

Was Naby keita also a key player for Liverpool in last seasons CL win. Remember he also scored 1 goal vs FC Porto

No need to explain the reason. That's the question answered.

One can be a key player without having played all the games, not so?
Impact at key moments.

Here u said the reason why Oxlade is not a key player was because he played 300 out of 1080 minutes of football. because he played just 300mins that makes him not a key player according to u.

And below u said Origi was a key player for Liverpool last season even thoughh he played just 217 means of champions league football. Way less than Oxlade that u said was not a key player cos he played just 300mins.

raumdeuter:

U did not consider the impact Chamberlain had in the games he played and even made the goal he scored that helped eliminate City look irrelevant...

My point from the beginning has been that one can be a key player even with less playing time as long as he turns up when the team needs him.

Will Liverpool have beaten City if we remove Oxlades goal?

Will Liverpool have beaten Barca if we remove Origis goal

Was Naby Keita a key player last season in the CL win given that he scored 1 goal vs Porto in the quarter final just like Oxlade

Its very simple

Football is not maths that you can just add and subtract whenever u please.
Chamberlain scored the 2nd goal in their 3-0 victory over City. Who Knows how the game would have gone had Chanberlain not made the Scores 2-0 in the 20th minute?

Goals change games and that Chamberlain's goal was hugely important because it was the first leg. It's now easy for u to come out and say Liverpool scored 5 goals because City lost at the Etihad. Who knows how different the 2nd leg would have been if Liverpool did not have a good advantage going into the 2nd leg??

U've already admitted urself that a player can be a key player whilst playing less minutes so I guess the argument is over. Wot matters is turning up when ur team needs u.

Oxlade scored 1 goal vs City. That is what happened. No guesswork there.
Oxlade was as important as Naby Keita to Liverpools last CL win

Both of them scored 1 goal in a quarter final

If they are counting the most important players to liverpool CL final run, they probably will count 10 players before Oxlade
