I want to congratulate those members of the house that have just recieved their 2NL, at least some of the tension has been reduced. Now to those that are yet to recieve theirs please take over the shoes of patience removed from those that just got theirs cos you shall surely recieve yours IJN all is a matter of time.
Now once you have recieved ur 2NL another journey begun immediately and believing that you have been following this forum and apart from this forum visit the dvselectee website always to avoid asking so many questions. get all your document ready. go for your police record with a passport and ur Intl. passport. there is no official amount for this, but just hold at least 5K. for medicals I did mine at The consultant practice, 25 raymond njoku Str. Ikoyi.you shuld b there as early as 7:30am with your Intl passport two passport photographs and a photocopy of the data page of your Intl passport, for adult hold at least 30K. if you are taking a commercial vehicle from Obalende or CMS, stop at Polo junction and ask someone within cos it is a trekable distance. Well it's rather unfortunate that this mistake has been made from the onset, because if she were to be present when filling the online application,she would have understood the step she was about taking, because DV lottery does not make provision for single parents, it is only three options: single, married or widowed,and if widowed by divorce, a certificate of divorce from a law court or NPC must be provide, and if by death, a death certificat must also be presented. so it would have been better for her to leave it the way it was initially,i understand she cuold have include her child's name unconciousely out of a mother's love, but that notwithstanding she cuold go ahead with convincing evidence of parenthood. She stands a 50/50 chance. with God all things are possible.

pls is church marriage certificate acceptable because d date i filled for our wedding is that of d church? D date on our registry certificate is different. please i need ur urgent advise....

I don't think you have anything to worry about, as long as you have the both of them to show. when you go for your interview be sincere just as you have stated here, put it the same way to the CO. they understand that we are not very perfect in filling this forms, but most people fall victims when they try to tell lies. The lady can take the risk but she should go with enough evidence to show the baby is hers and also let the embassy know that someone helped her apply for the lottery but failed to include her baby name.I wouldnt mind a DNA self if she can afford it with other expenses

just tell them u want to swear an affidavit for ur age and that u will be taking it to NPC to get ur birth cert. They know which format to use. Your bargainin power depends on how much they will collect from you. Normally, affidavit shouldn't be more than #100, but they won't take that from you. Here, in anambra state, they do collect frm #700-#500.

Nero XP, your dependants are your children and tour wife. Since you filed as single and still remains unmarried, you got no dependants.

Go to the High court and let them know you want an affidavit FOR NPC birth certificate. The format is a bit different.

1. Keep the full names of your parents handy.

2 Keep also the place of their birth.

3. Note down also the local government they both come from. Have your mother's nee ready because it may be requested.

Having so much money in your account is beautiful but you MUST provide a valid US address where your green card will be mailed to. You could delay your application or get an outright denial if you fail to provide a contact who MUST be a US citizen or a permanent resident.

My dear brother, I saw your mail and I responded. This is definitely not how to go about it. You can't trust any contact given to you on this forum. There are many illegal residents in the State who would readily drop off their address to have your green card mailed to them. Beware of open solicitations. Do what I recommended in my mail to you. It must be someone you know or have met in person. Go through godly friends, church/mosque members or classmates who are now settled in the US. If your effort yields nothing - it should yield something- then let me know. But heed my warning, do not accept an address location from an individual you have never met in person. Goodluck dear.
