Kobojunkie: The way people confuse freebie with ACHIEVEMENT, e get as e be. ROFLMAO!!! grin grin grin

So, should we then conclude that when Jonathan offered free Rice and Umbrella rice during elections, that was also an achievement of his??

why not keep shut rather than lambast good works. How much of such largesse has your state government declared. Appreciate good things that you might have some for yourself. God bless you as you hearken.

Okija Priest: I am one of the biggest critic of the Rochas Okorocha administration and since I dont actually live in Imo State, I will be cautious in my assessment..

I took a drive from Onitsha to Port-Harcourt during Easter and passed through Owerri and I am sorry to say that I wasnt impressed with the road construction I saw.. The quality of the roads were poor and no real thought was given to the other things necessary in a mordern day road like Drainages and street lights.. The entire drive, The Onitsha Owerri road was the best, Port-Harcourt was second best and Owerri road was the worst..

On the Kerosene sharing, I made my feelings known extensively on Nairaland... It was a foolish move by his administration as that singular event posed a very big HSE hazard to all and sundry that attended that charade.. Secondly, it wasnt sustainable, neither was that the solution to the kerosene scarcity on ground.. People dont want free Kerosene, they just want it to be available when ever they need it.. He failed to address this as my findings have shown that the situation is status quo..

On the paying of stipends to minors in Secondary and Primary schools, it was an unnecessary move.. If he really wanted to do someng for the ids, he could have signed an MOU with Biscuit manufacturing/distribution companies and maybe coca-cola to give every child in schools 1 biscuit and soda a day.. or even a 'feed the child' program.. This his new policy is very open to fraud as their is no real statistics on the number of students in Imo State and thus could be inflated and used as an avenue to steal the states fund..

20k minimum wage was cute... But I knew it wasnt sustainable.. It wasnt like Imo had any extra income somewhere..

The free education policy was a very good move except for the tertiary one.. Rather than free education for university students, encourage a scholarship system based on merit, sports and other such things..

His sending of 60 students from Imo State university abroad for an exchange program was another waste of money as an exchange program is rarely beneficial to a student in the long run.. If he had sent them abroad on a scholarship to study, that would have been a great policy..

I learnt that he privatised ITC and I cant complain about that as I believe that the government shouldnt be involved in business.. Especially in Nigeria..

The hotel!! Hmmm.. I wonder why Imo State would be investing in a hotel!! That should be the job of private investors.. If we should learn from the past, government hotels never last.. Hotel Olympia and Presidential Hotel port-Harcourt amongst others should serve as a good example for him..

In all fairness, for an outside observer and also considering that he is just barely 1 year in Office, I would score him a 25% out of 100..

P.S: The dude who compared Amaechi in RIvers State to Rochas is a joker.. Amaechi is handling so many projects that Okorocha could only dream of..

I will still keep observing him, so far, I call him the Media Governor..

You made some good points but it wont stop me from shooting you on your left nyansh when I catch your punk a.ss!!

Another eejit! I suggest you learn to take your own advice there (shut the heck up) especially when you have no understanding of what it is you are actually responding to.

Na Nigeria Education system and the high level of insecurity wey dey plague people like you. . . na im I blame. Someone says FREEBIES should probably not be considered achievement since there is a line you cross when you do that, and this village rat comes here to yap about how insecure he is about having his thought process questioned.

What the heck has your assumptions of my state to do with this? Na your papa get any state for Naija?

Shame no even catch you say you dey here dey attack another Nigerian, who could even be your next door neighbor, on behalf of a POLITICIAN . . . Later una go dey wonder wetin dey go wrong each time . . . nkakpi!
nonsense!

Abagworo:

Then what do you want from Rochas apart from improved infrastructure, free education, constructing over 200 new primary schools, upgrading two new cities and doing the wishes of the masses.

How disingenuously can you descend to score an imaginary political point for Rochas Okorocha? I am beginning to doubt if you actually visited Owerri recently as you have claimed. The picture of Wetheral’s road signpost you posted was erected and road tarred by Ohakim. Look at the characters and paints of signpost are pilling and discoloring. Rochas is not a magician to construct all these in six (6) months. The same picture you posted was the background of incident when a teenage threw sachets of pure water on Obasanjo during the Ohakim’s effort to win votes of Imoiks. By then I guess, Okorocha was still leaving in Jos, Plateau State as a trader.

I am not a supporter of Ohakim or Okorocha but twisted out of human form due to misguided and blind praises dumped on Okorocha. I shall be one of the first group people to praise Okorocha if he performs but now, he has done absolutely nothing to write home about. I am still paying school fees for my wards in every tier of scholastic institutions in Imo State yet blind fellows would shout about free education Okorocha has unleashed in Imo State.

Abagworo, your hatred for Anambra knows no bound! What part of Anambra have you being to? Given the fund available to him,Peter Obi is best performing governor in Nigeria! His exploits in infrastructure is unbeatable! The man is a genius and I dont wanna go into details cos his achievements in infrastructure is too numerious! Peter is a very reserved and quiet man and people like you takes that for weakness and underestimates. Agbasia oso aguo mile! The man isnt into white elephant projects! Do you even know he has a target to meet He is doing a holistic job in the state.

I'm sorry my friend but Rochas re-paved almost all the major roads in Owerri urban centre including wetheral. Many roads in Ikenegbu and Aladinma area surprised me. I was in doubt before I visited. My reservations remains the quality of the roads.

Okorocha wasted money on repaving the end part of Wetheral road towards Ogbo Ochichi Market. The roads in Ikenagbu, especially around FUTO and beyond, were tarred by Ohakim. The Owerri ring road had not progressed beyond pouring of laterite by Okorocha. The only credit I had to give to Okorocha in terms of road construction is grading of certain city streets pending tarring of the streets

Thank you for asking that important question but you are also a liar and a thief because he who lies would also steal. Is it the same Concorde area that was built by Achike Udenwa 'Onwu'? Why come here and spread falsehood. Secondly why take IMSU to his village, owu mpa ya we IMSU? What is wrong with IMSU's present site? Most Universities in the UK are not as big as IMSU yet they offer better quality education, so what is the obsession with taking IMSU to their villages. The beauty of IMSU is its present location. Why not develop the existing land instead of building a new site thus wasting scarce resources. It is so disappointing that Tony Anwukah who I have much respect for has refused to voice against this attempt to Politicize the location of IMSU. They should hands off that University. As slow as De 'Evan or Evans'- which ever one he is may his soul RIP- was, that was his only tangible achievement.

The desperate attempt to write in Igbo exposes your inherent idiocy. My people say that a child that called his/her mother ugly equally called his/her father moronic dolt which makes the child an irredeemable wayward. I guess a dog seems to be more domesticated than you have shown on this debate.

The contract Okorocha signed with the local contractors does not include drainage system. So the unfairness comment should not attract local contractors at all. This is Okorocha’s show.
