vc online: Biko save ur tears to weep for wherever you are coming from. As for us Imolite we are comfortable with our dear governor.

Just wanted to state that during Ohakim's regime, many Imolites said pretty much the same thing of him too. If you doubt it, check Nairaland Archives.

Those are probably Ohakim's friends and those in the press that they bought over with brown bags.

Credit must be given to whom its due. Even if you are not living in the country, surely you have heard of the moves even in education? The free education, the effort at encouraging kids to go to school by giving them pocket money, the engagement of contractors? What we have now are people like Segun Adeniyi of Thisday writing stupid stuff, like Rochas should slow down and take it easy. Take it easy? The man realises that there is a lot to be done and some of them are not happy that someone is actually doing some work. If anyone keeps waiting for corrupt law makers(who think its business as usual), to approve essential and needed projects, nothing will get done. So Rochas needs to go ahead with the projects and not wait for those thieves. Thats what people like Segun Adeniyi must understand and stop trying to put a clog in the wheel of progress.

If someone tries to work, they will attack, if he doesnt, another problem.

The desperate attempt to write in Igbo exposes your inherent idiocy. My people say that a child that called his/her mother ugly equally called his/her father moronic dolt which makes the child an irredeemable wayward. I guess a dog seems to be more domesticated than you have shown on this debate.

Rochas Okorocha is trying in Imo State, at-list he gave free education from primary level to secondary level and some other thing he is doing, Imo State is one of the best States we have in this country ''Nigeria''
Re: What Has Rochas Achieved In Imo State by ballabriggs: 5:16pm On May 19, 2012
Why must you make noise all over the place if indeed you are working? As someone pointed out Ohakim started the same way, making noise over the place about 'clean and green', IROMA and 'Oguta wonderland'. In fact he even won an award in his first year as the governor of the year. However, we were wrong, he was a rogue in disguise with his anya quarter past four. I am not saying Rochas is not doing anything but they should quit the 'Otimkpu' strategy and work more. Where the work is to be done are the inner towns in Imo from Uzoagba to Emekuku, Obowu to Mbano, Abba to Agbaja, Awommama to Amaifeke, Akabo to Inishi, Ihitte Uboma to Ngor Okpala which have long been forgotten. That is where the work is to be done. You cannot tar few roads in Owerri and say you are working, what the hell is that. In addition kindly tell him to leave IMSU in its present location. Seriously, why the hell is there an obsession with IMSU. Must every new Governor take IMSU to his village. Have they finished developing IMSU's present site. ANIMALS!!!

Ohakim was never my 'sweetheart'. He was a rogue right from the start...

And if you dont give a hoot, why are you interested in a thread about the Man?

Dude, this thread is not about you and your insecurities. I don't give a hoot about your personal feelings, and or misgivings. .. . I didn't ask you of what you think of Ohakim or of what you think of those who continue to think he was better. So, your hymnal there makes no sense to me and I don't give a hoot for it at all.

If you want to comment, comment on the topic and probably stick to that rather than WHINNING TO Kobojunkie about things Kobojunkie does not give a rats arse about.

pendusky: have not seen any visible development there for nw, the road network is poor, jux like aba! I hate seeing such! Maybe they should approach Godswil Akpabio for lessons on infrastructural development! Matchew!
will u shut ur trap! Rochas is far better than Akpabio in every ramification, jus compare d revenue of d 2 states, d time frame n what has been achieved already. Give Rochas half of what Akpabio or Amaechi is getting n c what wil happen. Rochas is d best governor in nigeria 2day.

See wahala o? You said you dont give a hoot, and I asked why you are interested in the thread if you dont?

Anyone who reads my post and this your outburst, would be very clear on who is insecure..

Are you an animal or are you just so frustrated that evrything turns to a fight and a need to validate yourself? pray tell..

The thread was about Rochas, and I duly talked about him, where do you get off on being a total as's wipe?

About the revenue issue, I hope you realise that Imo is an oil producing state?

And if you have some stick so high up your as's, that you think everything is about you and has to be about you, then you need to get the crap out of your a'ss.

You mentioned Ohakim, and how he was being praised. I addresed that and you are in another breath saying you didnt ask me of what I think of him. Why did you mention him in addressing my post if you didnt want me to talk about him?
What in the world do you take yourself for to decide what people say?

Once again, where do you get off being a total as's wipe?

Your frustrations, you keep to yourself and dont always expose it on Nairaland. Your nastiness and your need to put down others(which is a serious complex issue), is all too evident to all.

ofcourse u cant compare d amount of oil Imo has 2 dat of Rivers or Akwa Ibom, especially since they won d offshore dichotomy case during OBJ's tenure n 76 oil wells from C.R were ceded 2 Akwa Ibom. For starters d budget of d 2 states is in d region of 400billion each while Imo is abt 200billion! Now compare it.

As at May 2008, Amaechi and Akpabio had not reached Rochas stage at the moment. So in comparison, he's doing better for now with his meager resources.

With the way some of our Igbo brothers disregard and even diss the works of their hardworking governors in SE, soon whenever gubernatorial elections commence, all thieves will be running in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION, because oku di over! cheesy
Truth be told, it is not easy to please our people, eziokwu! cheesy
I like it that way though, because then a thief stands no chance whatsoever! cool
