It's no longer news when a woman gives birth to a 'hemmy'. What'll yo do if sh't happens to you.?

I would be shocked of course. But once that wore off I'd round up the experts. I hear that brain scans can tell docs if the baby is ("more" of) a boy or a girl b/c brain activity is different in baby boys vs. baby girls. I'd also get a chromosonal test done. I want to know, is the baby XY, XXY, XX or some other abnoramilty. If the baby is either XX or XY then I'd go w/ that information but some people are "testoterone resistant" so they appear female but have XY & are sterile.

The hard part would be telling my family. They'd all want to know what gender. And ya'll know how people perfer to have boys[i] sha[/i]! So anyway, I'd explain that we (my hubby & I) don't know yet. I'd dress my baby in blue but w/ a non-boyish print, green, yellow, and white. What else?

Oh yea, if the docs could not determine gender than I'd wait until my baby was a bit older to do a surgery. I don't want to be hasty b/c of my own feelings and leave my child feelings bad years later.
