Hey, You don't need a free teacher actually, all you need is resources . People ain't the same cuz for me, I learned everything while in my room . I never went to any teacher or attended any school to get me on the stuff! What matters is dedication and commitment. All I'll say is make a good use of your internet connection! |

rufaai, as you hv rightly noted, "pple aint the same". Our fingers aren't the same length. Some like you learn better via resources, others are born with it, others learn better by paying someone and some learn better via a mentor. Some pple, even with resources, for whatever reason can't seem to muster the confidence in them to think they are capable of cranking out even a single line of code even though they are perhaps better than others. This is where a mentor comes in. Such a person would ideally be good at finding out how best the person learns and how to bring out the best in the person. A mentor by the way doesn't have to impart knowledge alone. Providing A23 with a pc and helping him set up his environment/providing him more than 30 mins of internet access are also forms of mentoring. I am not saying resources aren't a good thing or a start. I am saying that if A23 feels a mentor is what he needs, then I am sure he has done the necessary thinking to come to this conclusion. A23, I would love to be of assistance but I am not there. Having said that, I wish you luck in your search for whatever it is you need to get the web dev ball rolling for you. |

A2J, I quite agree with all the responders, and I'll like to add this bit to that. Web Development is a serious thing, because it requires above all concentration and logical reasoning. However, I am willing to offer you some degree of mentoring if you're serious. Serious in the sense that I really do not have the time for unserious things or people. And let me encourage you by saying this: chances are that you're good, just like many traditional programmers are, but in the development, you need to be able to think out of the box, and be able to see every project as solving real-life problems, For me, I have my office setup at home, and my company takes jobs from other web developing companies, and individuals. We are at the concluding stage of our Outsourcing site, where developers like you will be able to register, and we will send jobs to you at home. As along as you deliver, we don't care if you're white or black or have half head. That's how we have been working and getting paid from other countries around the world. If you're serious, please send me a mail: webservice@ebusinesspractice.com I want you to know that, what you probably need is 1 week of proper brush-up, and direction, and you're good to go. We all learnt in different ways, and I believe the more developers we have, the stronger we are to take on more serious and daring innovations that the world needs! |
