MKO Deserves UNILAG Name Change-what's The Fuss about? by coolrose(m): 9:50am On May 31, 2012
India never forgot Mahatma Gandhi as they made his children Indian Presidents after him,
South Africa never forgot Nelson Mandela as he was made president after 27 years in jail for his country,
America never forgot their democracy heros i.e JF Kennedy,Roosevelt,Lincoln etc
Nigeria seems to have forgotten so soon what MKO Abiola symobolises just 19 years after.
Is UNILAG name change too much to sacrifice for MKO?
All of us(including pple saying no now) came out to reject the injustice meted to MKO in 1993 and 1998 when he died. We have forgotten so soon?
If the name was changed in 1999 would we have rejected it?

WALAHI! Nigeria is not worth dying for........

Everything that happens in Nigeria is an opportunity for disgruntled politician to roll out their drums. they have seized this opportunity to rant again. my only surprise is that the Yoruba which should celebrate are the once against this noble move to immortalise the man whose blood is a large part of the prize for our democracy

Ours is a divided nation. Even fifty something years together as a country has not changed anything about our integration or orientation.
