The Lagos State Government has
suspended the sack of the 788
doctors recently relieved of their
duties from the government
employment. The suspension followed the intervention of the leadership of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and others led by the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Tinubu who addressed reporters on
Thursday alongside State Governor,
Mr. Babatunde Fashola and
Commissioner for Environment, Mr.
Tunji Bello shortly after discussion
with the government, urged the doctors to return to work.

i thought they would wait till the entire naija health system shut down on their heads.
I believe now is the time for genuine dialogue. No am harder than you. They should meet and discuss issues. All the best to govt and the docs.

Atleast the doctors now realize they are dispensable. This is a warning shot and suspension of their sack doesnt mean cancellation. Let them now dialogue as employer to employee.
