I’ll define a mind as a full of all sort of good and bad things. The way God created our

mind is so powerful that whatever we think, believe, we can achieve. And that is why

God confused the general language of man in the book of (Gen. 11 vs 1-7) God did this

because human beings are so powerful and wise to the extent of building a tower, they

believe it will reach to Heaven. The same thing is applicable to the inventors of today,

although theirs was used in a good way, yet all these things started from the mind. Do

you use your mind the way God wants you to use it? Do use it powerfully just as it was

created? People like the Wright brothers who think something could fly in the sky apart

from eagle used their mind, somebody like Mark Zukerberg who think face book can

connect you with all your old and new friends used his mind, people like Asa Chandler,

Thomas Edison, Isaac Newton, Michael faraday, Martin Luther King (Jnr.) Alexander

Bell. All these men are great because they exercise the power of their mind. What do

you set your mind on? Is it how you’ll defraud your fellow country men, or causing

trouble among them. All these are negative way of using one’s mind and it is very

dangerous. The way people think are different from each other and that is why everyone

on the surface of the earth are not the same. Because people of great and good minds

will always be at the top. King David was a man of great mind, and that is why the Lord

chooses him among all his brothers. Joseph has a great mind, and that is why he

achieved his dream. King Solomon was blessed with everything because of the mind he

has. What kind of mind do you have? So many people, most especially the great

inventors achieved that much because of the way their mind is positioned. Some people

are so timid and are always afraid of everything, so they refuse to try because they fear

a lot. And the Bible says “for God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of

power of love and of self discipline” (2 Timothy 1 vs 7). Brethren stop that act of

timidity, arise today and act because without that you cannot be celebrated. You really

need to act to achieved God’s purpose for you on the surface of the earth. And also you

really need to have faith, faith that can move mountain. The Bible says “And without

faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrew 11 vs 6), strongly develop a genuine faith

in Christ, so you can get to where he wants you in this life. Reposition your mind today,

stop thinking negatively, because the Bible says “As a man thinketh, so is he”. Also

change your habit towards your believe, change your hoard thinking to a wealthy one.

Think big and always visualize yourself achieving that goal of yours. The only special

thing in the extraordinary people is the way they think and use their mind. You can get

there, you can achieve that thing and you can also achieve more than your mentor. Pray

today that God should help your mind, so you can be able to think straight (John 14 vs

1). Read that bible verse and meditate on it .

The human mind is really very active and the way i see it, when God created us, he made us a fertile farmland, ready to germinate very fast whatever seed we plat upon it. The heart of a man is the fertile farmland and from the heart can spring forth the tree of life or the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

When Jesus told the people that we cannot be infected by the food or type of food we eat but by the words that comes out of our mouth. Where does those words spring from? Power has been given to the tongue that whatever we profess upon the earth will be accepted in heaven, and thus has effect immediately in our life. So what do you want to profess from your mouth, life or death?

Now if we must attain a successful control of this complex structure which we cannot see but feel, we must seek the consent of the creator for guidance. If you have an issue with your HP laptop computer, will you take it to a Dell company for repair? Such is similar with our minds, body and soul, we are simply creations of one genius and that genius is God who did not make us alone but the whole universe and he has placed us in charge of all these he created that even the devil who seem to have gotten a destination in hell is envious of our position and willing to counter God's plan by dragging us with him to Hell.

The word of God asked us specifically to secure our mind. We are not told to secure our family, our wives, our children or our wealth but most importantly our mind. Whatever is ingested into the mind must grow, that is imminent and whatever we declare upon our tongue will come to pass; heaven and earth might pass away but the words of the Lord will surely never expire until it is fulfilled. It is an assurance.

What seed must you plant to secure a better harvest in your heart. The harvest from the tree of life comes from the 0planting of the seed of the word of God, which springs forth faith, hope, respect, love and other virtues of the spirit. Planting the deadly seed of destruction is what we ingest daily from our media partners, books, daily activities, environment, education system and so on. We might not block them totally from getting in, but the word of God is life and life and death has no relationship, darkness and light are never related so is good and evil. So when the bad seed gets in, it can only be countered by the good seed and so when we allow ourselves to meditate upon the word of God daily and every time, we are countering the bad seeds and renewing the spirit of life within which springs forth the rivers of living water...
