I know as at last month KWh was around N7:50k jumping to N13 will be 13-7/7 x100= 85%. So the tariff increase is about 80%. The fixed payment may stand for VAT which used to be N200-250per month. This means more money to the private pockets. I salute the government of Mr Fresh air |

The truth be said: if electricity tariff is not increased, no private investment in that sector, which also means no improvement. Brace up Nigerians, the journey of a thousand mile begins with the MIND. How about dat? |

Theif, ole carry am go. Why don't u give us constant light for six months first then u can tell us u need to increase the tarrif to keep it going but u are all theives and will not improve our power to even common 10kMW. South Africa with a population of 50Million is still improving on its 40kMW electricity and a very rich country like ours is struggling with 4kMW. What we expected of Jona in his first year was to concentrate on power, putting all naija's resources into acheiving this but he has failed and won't do it as far as first term is concerned. Do u know dat once we have power the tarrif on major things like telecommunications will go down drastically. I say no more! 1 Like |

Billyonaire: I need electricity first, I spend average of N60,000 monthly for PMS, If there is constant electricity, I no mind spending that bill. Mr. Billyonaire...yes we know you canb afford it. But don't you think that you are self centered... Firstly, for how long have we been promised of better power supply usually followed, by an upward review in the cost of electricity and YET their is absolutely nothing to show for it... Moreso, the frustration of Nigerians is evident all over the federation...Boko haram in the North reacting blindly, Kidnappers accruing wealth from the celebs in the east, celebs runny shady deal in the west and oil bunkerS thriving in the south. This is a sign of frustration and joblessness.....POWER SUPPLY is important to all sector, yet it isn't SUPPLIED. Do u know how many low incomers depend on PHCN.....yet dem dey fall dem hand Barber Welder Tailor Iya alata (pepper mill) Frozen food shop Even your average beer parlour Its really unfortunate ...for a country that has so much potential 4 Likes |
