In my letter, I stated ...'My current employer has assured me of a position of higher responsibilty after my studies and return to Nigeria, However they will not put this in writing' and I got my visa Note: My whole letter was painting the picture of my dreams of taking higher roles within my current organization after school so that sentence wasn't looking so isolated. My uncle (sponsor) is an Executive officer in a Financial Regulatory institution in nigeria and in my letter, I referred to him as my career mentor as well and in his own letter he stated he would get me a job that requires the skills and knowledge I will get from canada. Statement of purpose is the best effort you can put into your application (after prayers ooo) I didn't even know of this wonderful thread before I submitted my application. Don't blab a lot in your SOP, first know what your plans are and then present it in a good way. I am open to assisting with statement of purpose for anyone but I will only help you edit whatever you write initially. mozo: @siga/house, what if all I can get from my office is just a reference letter, cos I knw those people, they won't like to state am coming back in the letter, just that I work there and I should be assisted in anyway possible 2 Likes |

ezme: Has anyone tried paying their application fees using GTBank Naira Mastercard? Please share your experienceIt worked fine, but my opinion is that, its the School or site that is the greater factor in determining if our Nigerian MasterCards or VISA cards would work on 'em. All the best! |

I have always followed this thread, i applied for TRV but not for student visa and thus the reason i have not been contributing, though the thread has been quite inspiring. I have a question for Kayce43 and Kenniy, we have similar situations, a mail was sent to my agents and CDHC asked me to go for medicals with an attachment stating my details and file numbers and a medical form, but VFS has not updated their site, and am wondering if i can go for the medicals or not without my passport. Although the attachment said a means of identification passport or driver's licence or national ID. |

Tell them u u received a mail and inquire if ur doc is wit them. If no, send a mail to cdhc and inform them and ask if you can go for medic witout pp, I feel @ dt point, they will release to vfs. What date did u submit ur application? What date was ur medical instructn issued? What r u going to do u Canny? |
