MissAhoy: I have always followed this thread, i applied for TRV but not for student visa and thus the reason i have not been contributing, though the thread has been quite inspiring. I have a question for Kayce43 and Kenniy, we have similar situations, a mail was sent to my agents and CDHC asked me to go for medicals with an attachment stating my details and file numbers and a medical form,but VFS has not updated their site, and am wondering if i can go for the medicals or not without my passport. Although the attachment said a means of identification passport or driver's licence or national ID.

Havnt bin in lagos since on d 24th but I came in today! after I was told to show up tmrw by 8am to the office (agency's office) with my passports and drivers license, its obvious , the embassy wld hav given dem a go ahead, they hav nvr experienced that b4 datz the reason we were waiting for the update 4rm vfs, since thr was no update, they went to the embassy on friday, tmrw I will update the house about my experience

Its medicals, the challenge here is dat myself, kenniy n missahoy were sent mails to go for medicals without an update frm Vfs, so wats confusing is whether ds is dia new style of inviting for medicals? No one is sure yet but I will knw more by tmrw.

Heard d cdhc guys r having some internal challenges.
It could be due to their restructuring for faster processing time.
I pray they fix their issue so dt house members awaiting medical can get it especially those dt have May start dates.

My advise, send a mail to vfs global. Tell them u u received a mail and inquire if ur doc is wit them. If no, send a mail to cdhc and inform them and ask if you can go for medic witout pp, I feel @ dt point, they will release to vfs.

What date did u submit ur application?
What date was ur medical instructn issued?

We have the same situation then, the instruction said i should bring 4 passport photos and a form of identification, i sent a mail to my agents too, to confirm from CDHC if i can go ahead and do the medicals without my passport.

the mail was sent on d 19th Dec but as usual, they were waiting for the update frm vfs, it dint change, datz wen i put pressure on them, it was obviously internal issues like u said so they had to go and enquire wat was goin on, nxt tin they called me same friday evening to come over 8am monday morning wiv passport photos and Id.

@Mercilicious, Please check your spam mailbox thoroughly in case your medical instruction is in there somewhere. I think spam mails do not appear on BB. Anyway, as an IT person, I guess you know such stuff more than me.

They didn't give me my application reference number so I have not been tracking...they are the ones that tracked and collected the medical instruction forme,,I will go to their office tomorrow too
