I applied to University of Calgary and I habe been waiting on them to notify me of my status however, all they keep saying is that they cannot get back to me if I don't send in the original copies of my transcripts from my school. There's something about being a self sponsor that is just a 50/50 chance. I don't know just my personal opinion, makes you wonder if one probably had like a co-sponsor if the outcome would have been different?, so they know someone will be sending you money.. Na only God know sha. @mercy I don't know sha but you could try it with a co sponsor, but its all good if you are still deferring the canada runs till further notice. All the best

Your case is special.well,what I can say is try again this fall,all you need do is write to your school to gve you a 1year related course,get same documents to the CDHC adding a co-sponsor.The statement of account did not show you would be sustained for 2years without getting support from anyone.But I think if it was a year programme it may ve being a different thing.I was denied 1st time due to same reason,2ndtime,I got another sponsor but was denied due to another reason.But if its just account that's your case,try again real soon.'If you fail,look closely and seek the reason why,you ve power to conquer if you only try.I wish us all well.

U can use any account anywhere even if na Pluto the acct dey...as long as its in ur name or ur sponsor's name(for those using sponsors)....If no activity on the acct; U may want to show the source of the cashogi....attach a letter detailing the reason for the sudden gbem to the bank statement....then coupled with the UK accate...

U can include him in ur application and ensure u include all his immigration documents showing his status for UK ...also, ensure he picks up a letter from his current school to show he is currently registered in school as a confirmed student...study permit alone wont do it...infact, if possible submit a photocopy of hin Student card join....all na to convince them....

Siga: .....To me I dont think anyone can use any sibling as home ties thingy...wetin concern ur brother with ur coming back...lol....when I did mine...my bro dey UK and I carry the UK address put there...I didnt even send anyone passport biodata, not even my sponsors....I only sent my passport with all other docs they asked for....but if u feel comfortable in sending dem biodata...go ahead...
