i did my medical yesterday at asaju clinic for 28k.mhen! It was not easy,from one hospital to another.cdhc instructs me to pay one year tuition before granting me d koko.i think datz their new strategy becos everybody i met their like five of us were told to pay for 1 year within 30 dayz or u jeopardise ur chance..GOD DEY!!!

I received admission into an undergraduate specialisation course in physics at concordia university in Montreal. I thereafter applied for the quebec acceptance certificate before submitting my application to VFS on the 28th of June 2012. My application was received on the 29th and it is going past the tenth week of my application. I initially applied for the fall start, but seeing as I would not be able to make it, I asked my student adviser to defer my admission to the winter 2013 term.
Before applying, just to prove that I had adequate financial support, I payed $5000 as an initial deposit for my tuition and then I provided proof of $40000 as financial support in bank accounts. Although I would be residing with my brother who is a permanent resident, still provided information that I had funds for boarding. My tuition is $18000, therefore I provided information to testify to the fact that I had funds for two sessions. My father and two brothers are my sponsors and I provided letters of sponsorships from all to testify to that.
I just want to seek advice and updates from people who have submitted their applications in June about the delays, because as of this moment I am yet to receive the call-up for my medicals.
Please a response would be gladly appreciated.

Looks like asking people to pay tuition is a new tactic to ensure applicants actually intend on studying there.

i just wana ask,having done medicals and am instructed to make payment and show receipt and admision letter showing new start date.my ? is wud i submit my passport back to vac or until d stated documents are completed.itz urgent plz

My case is just like your's. I sent in my application on the 28th at vfs and it got to CDHC on the 29th of june. I know the wait is killing me. I also had to defer my admission from the Fall 2012 to the Winter 2013. Early last week when I knew it'll be impossible to meet the fall start date, I sent CDHC an email and they replied that I should send my new admission letter to them as soon as I get it so they can update my file. I still don't have my new admission letter yet, so ill give them that as soon as I have it.

Just keep praying. I believe we should be hearing from them soon. I think they are now working on mid june applicants because the last I heard - they were on the June 12 applicants and that was last thursday. So let's give them a week or two more. What school are you heading to?

Advice.....just use genuine staty even if u dnt av lump some of money in it.frm what i knw nw,they are not particular about what u av in ur bank statement.GUYS,no nid of using oluwole bank statement cos u wud just waste aplication and oda fees and u wud b bounce since u cant provide d huge amount.just go with church mind and make sure u are capable.GOD DEY

Its not like I can't pay my tuition, but they shouldn't keep people waiting for so long at the commission. Even the UK and the US don't take this long.

We just gotta keep praying and waiting dear! As for your school, just tell them the embassy requires a defferal because of the delay in processing time. My school didn't ask much questions and just deffered. I should be getting the new admission letter in about a week or so. Goodluck! And keep me posted if u hear any news from them, ill do the same.

Yeah. But if your admission letter and your offer of admission contains multiple start dates, you won't need a new admission letter. Mine states that I have two start dates with an option to defer to either.

Firstly, have u deferred ur admission to winter 2013? Secondly, have sent mail to cdhc reminding them of ur start date? Pls if u have done so and still no responds I suggest u visit them to lay ur complain.

Ill say you pay them a visit asap. Email them about ur stataus, if no response still, go there. They already sent those that submitted mid june medical notice so you shoud have heard something. Goodluck. God dey.

Hi bruv...did you submit via vac?. If you did, would advise you call them up or visit them. Was at their office last month and I saw enough packages waiting to be picked up. I heard one of them asking why the hips of packages...and the response was 'we have not been able to update the owners'.
