chinese products makers took over computer village and have now taken over NL.

The modus operandi is simple.

some smart alec gets a deal to market chinese phones.

he opens a few accounts on NL. He posts his "new released, latest super chinko" product on NL.
he even updates with yet to be released ones.

He uses other accounts to validate his posts and spread buzz.

Before u say jack robinson, he has a one or two misguided followers who actually need other pple to validate their views and probably the fact that they already bought one of the phones

before you know it his products are the Bestestest of them all.

Some in all honesty dont even know better. u need to actually know what original feels like to know whats wrong with the clone no?

Huzzah. guy man no even need shout sef, business is practically self replicating.

he simply learnt from the hottest cheats and tweaks people, and the 40 laptop squad.

stupidity is contagious u know. NL is proof

Guys, if I flash my phone LG e615, will I lose root access. I want to update it to jelly bean 4..1.2 bit I can't do that with root access. Please recommend any good backup app for me. Thanks
Re: Android, Anyone? Part II by 4llerbuntu(m): 10:48am On Jul 02, 2013
one of the hazards of this thread and perhaps NL is that you stand the risk of losing the ability to help yourself.

you run the risk of developing learned helplessness. at its advanced stages you require people to wipe the crack in your arse for you after you shyte.

people like leopantro are known vectors of this disease. they spread it recklessly.

Puskin, why is this? do we have to report this site to Ministry of Health and WHO for posing a health risk to thousands of users?

That's just the case with phones.

Everybody is a don. No one wants to know if the other is right. It's contagious

That's why the saying"Heaven helps those who help themselves"exists

guy haba now. its not all cases I reply to. Sometimes I look in and see soo many problems people can just google for the answer but are too lazy to do so and I just don't bother to reply. it cost nothing to help anyone and it's a forum , marks are not deducted for asking stupid questions.

but some times those questions helps. one of such questions asked two pages back made me realize how to use glo bis on android again. using the userscript on android was from something Nuel said.

but truth be told, people do ask the craziest questions

This is the problem with most Nigerians. They shyte and instead of cleaning themselves up, they walk around with smelly arses looking for someone to clean it for them.

how's this for a revolution

A group of college students from
India – including a designer who
is just 17 years old – has beaten
the likes of Apple, Google and
Sony to launch the world’s first
fully-featured smartwatch.
Called Androidly, the device comes
with Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and a
camera built-in.
The £150 watch can also be used
as a phone to make calls and
send texts using a phone SIM
card and packs up to 16GB of
storage.
Although other smart watches,
including the Pebble and Sony’s
Live Watch, can wirelessly connect
with mobile phones, Androidly is
the first to come with the
operating system fully integrated.
Androidly has a 2inch screen and
comes with a 2MP camera.
It runs on an older version of the
Android operating system called
Android 2.2 Froyo.
A speaker, camera and
microphone are built into the
device and it can be plugged into
a USB socket to be used as a
storage device.
It can also be used to charge the
phone.
Androidly is the brainchild of four
students from India – software
developer Ankit Pradhan,
communications professional
Pavneet Singh Puri and lawyer
Apurva Sukant plus teenager
Siddhant Vats.
Sukant said: ‘There are other such
products in the market, but they
mostly sync with a smartphone
and are not phones in themselves.
‘We have ported Android on to a
much smaller board and built a
wearable phone.’
The devices can now be ordered,
in black or white, from the
Android.ly site for £150 each.
The £90 Pebble watch was the
first device to be classed as a
‘smartwatch’ and similarly
launched following a successful
Kickstarter campaign earlier this
year.
The Pebble smartwatch syncs
wirelessly with a smartphone
allowing users to receive emails
and Facebook messages, control
their music and even see who is
calling them.
Users can also downloads apps to
their watch to upgrade its
capabilities.
It works by connecting to an
iPhone or Android device via
Bluetooth, then downloading the
Pebble app to transmit software
updates.
Apple is also rumoured to be
developing a smartwatch, although
the firm has refused to comment
on the plans.
Google is also known to be
investigating the area.
Explaining the potential of
Androidly, the site explains:
‘Multi-task like a super hero.
Reach out for that refreshing drink
in middle of an email, with full
confidence.
‘Read through your documents,
with references on your wrist and
a coffee in your hand!
‘Cook with the recipe handy, or
manage your stocks with a live
ticker always at hand.
‘Switch between the digital and
the real world effortlessly, without
putting anything up or
down!’ [ https://passnownow.com/
